Morning All,

Wow, Thankyou Kitty,:A it looks really YUMMY so I'll have a go this weekend:T I hope the rest of them are jelous Kitty, you didn't think up a recipe for any of then did ya? There's no MrsM meatpie, Taplady teabread or Meanmarie muffins is thereWho's the favourite ?
Well done on loosing Juliejim and GOOD LUCK for today MrsM :j
As for getting back on the wagon, I am trying , honestIt's Lovely that you are all trying to drag me back on board
I will try hard to be good today and I can only take one day at a time but I'm not cheesed off about it at the moment. I'm trying just not to binge and I am looking forward to really getting back on track PROPERLY in January.
Right, I'm off as I'm REALLY behind today and it will mess up my routine if I don't get a wriggle on.
Oh yes , thanks TurboGran for pointing out what post no. we are up to :T a word of warning to you all ~ I want to be no 2000! You know how I like to be the centre of attention! So if more than 6 of you post while I am at work there will be BIG TROUBLE ! As one other Green Monster famously said "Don't make me angry~ you wouldn't like to see me when I'm angry!":rotfl:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi all
I'm a bit of a lurker, but I wanted to share that I've finally got around to using sparkpeople and it's really helping me keep focused! I hope to pop on and see how you're doing when I get time, but I think this thread is wonderfully supportive and inspirational
Newday - I find keeping a track of calories really focuses the mind, your portions might have been smaller but you ate a bit more? Dunno, but that's the type of thing I'd do!Don't give up!

OMG Frogga, are you quite sure you didn't mean " yukky " and not " yummy " *rubs eyes and checks to see if she misread it*
MrsM meat pie ? that sounds a bit Sweeney Todd, whilst she's losing weight at a steady rate of knots I don't think she'd apprecaite me trying to hasten the process by hacking bits off and making pies of them
I echo the well done julie and good luck for MrsM
Dawn, what you could try doing is increase your portions of veg ( meaning things like greens, carrots, peas, swede, leeks, peppers, onions etc ) and cutting back on the things like roast pots, things in sauces, big portions of meat or things with pastry etc. You shouldn't be going hungry - snack on fruit, veg, small amounts of lean meat/fish, oatcakes + other " good " ie complex carbs, and hm soup is a good filler too. Possibly you might benefit from either planning to have healthy snacks between meals or going the little and often route - having several small meals a day instead of 3 big ones. Good luck !
AliBow - I love " bits " meals - tbh sometimes I really have to persuade myself to cook instead of have meals like that all the time cos I happily could
Right, have to dash, have a " diversity workshop " to go to, have a good day all !" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -

Plans for today
B - muesli and banana
L - lunch out so havent a clue, will try my best!
D - tuna pasta bake possibly
Off for a browse now, might pop back in a bit!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Nipped back to check the post number so I don't offend Frogga - she scared me!!
Weighed myself this morning, 1 on and back to where I started  I suppose that's better than being heavier! Checked my BMI yesterday and only need to lose 3 to be 'healthy' instead of 'overweight' and seeing as how I'm at the docs next week I'd better get my a*se in gear
Last night I was a cake/bread monster again, OH upset me and rather than respond and have a row I stuffed cake.......didn't help, I just felt sick and couldn't sleep when I went to bed
I'm taking today as it comes, I've brought a butty and am meeting OH after work, we're supposed to be going for a swim and then to the German Markets in town but at the moment I don't really feel like it!
Sorry to moan ladies, I'll be alright in a bit.......:A
Good luck for the weigh in Mrs M!0 -
morning all
you dont know how tempted i am to post twice :rotfl: but i will stay as post 1999 ...
Got here eventually...went for my walk got home and was locked out of my own front bl**dy door  ..the whole barrel of the lock just kept going round n round... nipped next door to borrow the phone.. no-one on camp answered so i thought id give it another go before having to trudge onto camp and grab hubby...and after much cursing, pushing, pulling n bumping..im in :j
just need to get hold of hubby now to get the repair guy out to sort it
right back to business...lost 2 1/2lb :j this week so thats my 3st plus an itty bitty 1/2lb.... but its mine and it matters :rotfl: ... im surprised as i know i haven't eaten enough this week..but it has been one of those weeks where im really not hungry and really don't fancy much..but i WILL make myself eat more this week...
had 2 slices of toast for brekkie... it was okay but i will stick to weetabix in future
Now have 3 weeks to shift 6 1/2 lb to hit my xmas target....
Well done on the loss -juliejim :T
right...here we go..deep breath folks im about to amble..yep-some more:D
Rockie4... next time you will have to let OH have it with both barrels.. much more productive -and satisfying:rotfl: .... Hope you do go to the christmas market... hopefully it will make you feel all festive, they have such a lovely atmosphere... plus that extra walking will all add up....
Taplady..... hubby came home grining like a loon, its the best round he has ever played on that course... and he won without using his handicap..so we now have a trophy that is a woden plinth with a brass/bronze golf ball on with a bag of clubs leaning on it and the ball is a clock -its rather funky actually, and i love having something else to dust:rolleyes: ..and hubby spent all evening dropping asleep and snoring..oh the joy
hope you have a lovely relaxed long weekend... I think im going to start making myself have a bowl of soup at lunch time.. just so i get something to eat.... im just really not hungry -but i know its fatal to not eat enough..
KittyScarlett... i won't invite you to hack lumps off me, as my poor old sis was WWing and was struggling and reckoned the only way she would lose the rest was to remove a limb..a few days later daft sod ended up in hospital having that radical hysterectomy and a 16lb mass and 4 litres of liquid removed:eek: .. not quite what she had in mind...it did however get her to target :rotfl: ... and lets be honest at present any lumps being removed from me would be mainly fat..not a pleasant thought
I think you should also be praised on creating something that frogga likes  .. that was a shocker wasn't it
Katkin - :j on your "baggy pants" ..im just happy that my trousers now reach my "waist" and i use that word in the loosest possible terms :rotfl: I have a high waist anyway and by the time the trousers have traveled round my belly they never used to make it to my waistin fact im sure i invented hipsters :rotfl: .. so now its rather novel having a waist band on my waist
:rotfl:
Meanmarie...if you ever figure out why we do it to ourself you could make a fortune
Alibow ..is it white vinegar too? i know they reckon cider vinegar is good for weight loss...
I love turkish delight covered in chocolate .... and one of my faves is bonfire toffee.... but only my lovely mums.. she makes the real strong dark stuff..the best in the world... I don't like aniseed bleughhh
My niece calls that "stuff on a plate" my brother "cold cuts" when being posh and "snicky snacky snoos" when not :rotfl: and i used to love that.. lots of bits n bobs to pick at..especially the day after boxing day..as mum used to do a huge spread and the following few days were spent using it up... ice cold triffle for brekkie ..again has to be my mums as she used to make real yumy sherry triffle...proper egg custard and all mmmm
woohoo Turbo_Gran...hope all is well with youthanks for the good wishes..
Newday.. sorry about this week.. i know what you mean..im amazed i got away with eating so little..will probably bite me on the bum next weigh in...
I think you are right..you may as well eat a little bit more and then the temptation to have something else later hopefully won't be there. There is nothing worse than feeling like you have gone without and still not lost ..
im sure you will get rid of that extra no problem...
Hello there mushpea... nice to see you pop up...
wooho frogga... hope all is well with you and yours mrs... come on you know you want to get back and drive the wagon
right i had better get off and ring my mum
talk to you all soon...keep up the good work-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
