    Evening Ladies,

What a laugh the staff development day was :rotfl: :rotfl: NOT !

hope you've all been good today. Sorry to hear your tummy is still poorly Taplady, that's really rotten. Call in on your way home from work and I'll make you a nice cuppa and some lentil soup, yummy ( and no German cabbagy stuff in sight!;) )

Got a parents evening to see how Tadpole 1 has been getting on at high school so just had beans on toast as a quickie tea today made by Tadpole 2 :T

    Speak later

    Evening all :D

    I will shatter the peace:p

Not much happening here... got all my cleaning done :T ..and hubby got back from work early..and has just finished his potatoes n onions done in the oven with hm sausages oh and a couple of slices of bread that i made earlier... i had 2 slices of bread with lowfat cream cheese with garlic n herb..yummy... have to say i make damn fine bread :p but i think 2 was too much as i now feel stuffed  ..so thats me done for the day...

I did type a huge post this afternoon but got turfed off..and couldn't be diddled to type it all again;)

Off out tomorrow... need a walk..so im going to try and get the last few bits for my xmas hampers and then im all done and ready for :xmastree: :santa2: woohoo...
Hubby has had a new golf trolley allready for xmas..but i can't have him with nothing to open from me on crimble morning... so im toying with doing him a bit of a hamper too.. have spotted a single malt that he hasn't had and at only 11.99euros for 70cl thats pretty cheap..so i may make him a whiskey hamper. All the things like glenmorangi, glenfiddick etc we can get out of the Naffi for a fraction of the price in the UK..but i want some he doesn't get.. so i will rummage through the german shops ;)

Im also in search of a gardening note book/diary thing for my mums hamper as she has just had big sleepers put in her garden to make raised beds for veggies... so i want something where she can keep track of what she planted when etc...

i have decided that next year my hampers are all going to be home made stuff.... just didn't have enough notice that we would be going home this time:confused:
so it will be xmas puds, cake, stollen, flavoured spirits, etc and sweets for the kids etc... and im going to get my ar*e into gear and cross stitch things to hang on the trees... so i have to get organised as soon as we get back in the new year... can feel a really OS time coming on :T may even tackle a bit of knitting.. i can pattern and everything... just like doing matinee coats etc..big things take too long :p
can't believe im thinking about next xmas :rotfl: sorry folks :D

hope keiss is having a good birthday.....and bobbadog a good anniversary:D

taplady ..oooohhh IBS... not nice.. hope things settle down soon

well i will get off and see what is happening..
    have a good evening all:D

    Good evening everyone!

Birthday greetings to keiss - hope you're out having a lovely time._party_

Gosh, I didn't manage to visit yesterday, and it looks like I've missed a lot of fun..alas. I will treat myself later to a lite hot choc and catch up on the thread.

Been feeling good and not too starving over the last few days - yeh, maybe my tummy has shrunk:j

I'm on way way out to a social I attend once a month and have been busy making nibbles for the buffet. Baked a chocolate cake with choc-cream filling, mini puff pastry bites; sausage, onion and herb / brocolli, roast tomato and cheese / black pudding and mango chutney (this one's a bit experimental, :eek:will see how it goes down, looks interesting), I've also done a pepper and mushroom fritatta slice. Had a few wee picks and a tiny sausage roll, little lick of choc-cream, after all have to check to see if it tastes nice. It was:D...

    Today's eats:
    B - 1 weetabix, s milk, OJ
L - hm soup, box salad, mini pot sugar-free jelly and rasps
D - leftover from yesterday, cod & prawn bake, mash, roast tomatoes, peas.

Last 2 days I've walked 40 mins after dinner.

I'm going to stick to a few diet cokes tonight, and move / fidget a lot!!!

Hope the feet are on the mend MrsM. And dear me, Frogga, they do give you a hard time don't they.

That was the quickest Parents Evening I've ever been to! We were in and out quicker than................... somethng rude!:rotfl:

Tadpole 1 has just made my day. she has recieved nothing less than an A in ALL 12 subjects. It was a score for Effort only as they said it was a little too early to be assessing ability this early on in the term. I'm very proud of her, Effort is the most important one in my eyes :T

Her head of year made a special point of mentioning Holly's effect on a boy in her class who has Asbergers ( bet I spelt that wrong!) She said he was having a hard time and Holly befriended him and his Mother contacted the school especially to praise H on the possitive effect her friendship has had on him. He was also having trouble on the bus from some older boys but H stood up for him. The next day he refused to get on the bus to come home as H wasn't on it yet so he held it up for her by standing half on half off so that she didn't miss it. I think that was a very brave thing for him to do and he obviously feels he made a friend.:T It's nice isn't it?

I feel very happy and not at all needing to eat :D

  • I think that was some sort of mistake ( with the dating of the message even if they were working on the forum) MrsM as seems to be working fine now.

Unlike me, I've been totally rubbish as an OS'r and all the rest today ! the b*oody awful work day went on and on and on, I just got more tired and grumpy and resentful as the day wore on, anti food anti everything, even almost managed to get into a flounce with the FG only he's far too sensible to take any notice and called me a nitwit and rightly so. I have eaten mainly horrible food today and barely enjoyed a single mouthful of it. I even had a right fit about the slow process of using up stuff in the freezer and ended up throwing stuff away because I was hating the sight of it *blush* which really isn't me.

So hopefully by tomorrow whatever horrible creature is living inside my skin today will have moved on to someone else by tomorrow and I can get me back :D
