Newlywed - well done on the loss:beer:

Have you tried the Galaxy hot chocolate drink? Not as low cal as some but really thick and nice!

I'm going to have a 'proper' hot choc when I go to the German Market in town next week

  • Hello wonderful people, another day at work chalked off and annoyingly i've been called for an interview for a job i really really want but don't know where i'll stand with where i am now if i go to the interview and do get offered it :o ho hum, will have to have a serious think tonight about it.

    Todays eats have/will be:

Breakfast: Soya yoghurt and passion fruit - DD and i had a go at making ice cream yesterday using the slimfast to make it chocolately so we'll see how it turns out!

Dinner: Curried sweetpotato and lentil soup, with a braeburn for a sugar boost.

Tea: Mince on the pan with cabbage, babycorn and some mash. Think i'll have mango for afters if needed.

Have managed to avoid snacking so far *touchwood* but have ricecakes and lots of fruit in the house if needs be.

DId 45 minutes on the bike this morning and walked 20 minutes to work and 20 minutes back in the pouring rain and wind, was a sight to behold when i got home much to the amusement of my dad :rotfl:.

Welcome to all newbies, well done to all losers and *positive vibes* to those who need them.

Hello everyone! I'm back! Had a fantastic weekend and although it wasn't super healthy it has made me feel much happier and less like I wanna bang my families heads together :rotfl: I drank copious ammounts of alcohol on friday night but also spent all night dancing like an idiot heehee. I stuck to drinking wine and vodka lime and sodas which is an improvment on beer and vodka and cokes at least. Got in about 4am and scoffed half a packet of chocolate fingers, washed down with more wine:eek: As you may have guessed I was feeling a little worse for wear on saturday. Had a burger and some chicken nuggets and a large full fat coke. We did make it to bluewater tho so at least there was walking involved! Managed to sort of get back on track by saturday night tho, sweet and sour chicken with rice and spring rolls and a mini chocoalte pud. Sunday was chilli and rice at the pub then roast lamb in a giant yorkshire and lots of gravy for tea. Oh and a baileys hot chocolate, mmmm! Yesterday I had a slice of toast before catching the train home, realised I wasn't going to have time for lunch before my driving lesson so grabbed a flapjack at the station to keep me going. Then had a bowl of couscous when I finished my lesson and latter pasta with tomato sauce and left over roast chicken for tea with strawberry cheesecake for pud. Wow, feel like a right pig typing all that out! I have been doing well with my portion control tho (with the exception of the chocolate fingers obviously :rotfl: ) On the plus side, my friends posh digital scales say i'm four pounds lighter than my cheapo £3 wilko ones do so have fiddled with mine so they say the same now!

Anyhoo, apologies for the rambling there! Am back on track today. Breakfast was fruit and fibre with ss milk, lunch egg noodles with soy sauce and I've had a caramel slice for a snack. No idea whats for tea as mum hasn't come home with the food shopping yet.

I'm buying christmas sweeties on a quarter of... at the mo. Must stay strong and not buy loads for myself!

Hya everyone...hope you have had a lovely day, despite the weather...I do believe the rain has stopped, though it is getting cold again. :o

Must stop soon and get the tea on...a mixture of BBQ style chicken and lamb kebabs, with naan breads and veggies.

Clearing out freezer as Dad is planning on sending us a food parcel from the far north of Scotland - vacuum-packed meat from his butcher: beef sausages, black pudding, white pudding and some beef steaks...apologies all you veggies out there. You just can't get decent beef sausages south of the border, never mind white pudding...a good idea of Dad's though! :D

Mrs M Hope your poor tootsies feel better soon...if you have any aloe vera, it will work wonders, honest! :o

Mayz I find I need to let my bread cool, then I can slice it using a contraption from Lakeland Limited, called the EvenSlice. It may look odd, and is not very cheap (£16.50) but it is wonderful. You can choose how thick to made your slice and you can slice evenly and regularly through the whole loaf if you want too. It is best done when the loaf is cold...I usually make mine in the evening and then slice it in the morning. I also slice the whole loaf as the rest of my family would rather have doorstops, then complain when the bread runs out!

Looking forward to tomorrow...OH is taking me out for my birthday...will try to be good...honest! :A

Well done on sliding out of your clothes:D - you'll be able to buy a whole new wardrobe soon!

Not had too bad a day apart from a chocolate biscuit at breaktime.

A Nutrigrain for breakfast - I was running late
Banana and chocolate biscuit at breaktime
    Chicken sandwich at lunchtime
    Lobby for tea

Going to get some housework done now before having an early night I think!

    Most definitely:D
In fact I could walk through the foodie market on my way to the station if I want so I might make a little detour......well it is very cold and it will warm me up.....hic:o

Had my bean stew with couscous - it was VERY spicy but very nice :D
I've got carrot dippers and hummus for an evening snack (didn't want them this afternoon) and fully intend staying on the straight and narrow this evening :rotfl:

I recently got a pack of 6 Galaxy Chocolate drinks already in cups for £1 at Poundland. Only needed hot water, so .167 a cup and no washing up is not bad! They were for DH, I got shapers ones the same (for while we were travelling)
