Well done your your loss Newlywed. I hope your dh chills out!

    Men eh? ;-)

    MM

Yeah men  If he was grumpy all the time I'd just deal with it. But since he upped his exercise and diet he seems to change so quickly - they say women get mood swings but honestly! He's been going from being sweet and lovely to swearing at me. From apologising and making me cups of tea (rare) - to blaming me for him suddenly being grumpy. It makes no sense.

Thinking of what I could slip into his cuppa - wonder if he'd still taste bach rescue remedy or if you can dissolve Kalms tablets in tea???? ;)

Fantastic weight losses Mrs M , thisisit and newlywed :T:T:T such an inspiration to us all!

Brrrr it is even colder today...-3.9 @ 8am this morning! Looks like it got down to -4.5 @ 5:30 (you can tell I have a digi-thermometer thingy!)...it does look lovely though!

Your are right Mrs M, upping the exercise does make quite a difference...must get onto the bike in a mo. I would love to get back to a 3 lb loss next week...otherwise I am unlikely to get down to 17 stone in time for Xmas.

Saw my chiropractor yesterday and is very pleased with my weight-loss and how I am doing it...also my back is much better these days.

Remind me not to have a chiropractic session just before my teacher-training course at college though! I was yawning all the way through and beginning to stiffen up by the end...still, I had a good night's sleep...apart from a touch of asthma coughing @2:30...no windows open due to cold temps...but I need to have our bedroom and the bathroom ones open when we are in bed, or I am coughing all night.

Off to have a session on the bike, shower and then off to town to get my neighbour's pension and shopping. Can't get baking done yet as I have run out of wholemeal self-raising flour..Morrison's beckons I think...they have it at a sensible price...unlike Mr T.

Have a great day folks....any idea what I can do with 8 pork-loin steaks for tea tonight?

    Aah food:

B: Lovely warm porridge with raisins...mmmmm
    fruit
L: Left-over cauli-cheese from last night...couldn't face it when I got home from college
    cereal bar
    T: Pork-loin stuff

Boys all off to the Glouceseter vs Ospreys rugby match tonight so I will have the house to myself for the evening...yippee...but no nibbling! :rotfl:

Might get some Christmas wrapping-up done

    Well done the losers!!:j :j :j

3lbs MrsM that's brilliant!! I stayed the same which is good, it's better than putting on :j
Not too good today, migraine is back with a vengance, I've had toast before I left home and am having a bit more now. I might have to take another pill in a bit _pale_ . At least I've got a quiet day at work today........and I think food wil be what and when I fancy anything..

Tinned soup is YUK!!! I can't stand it

Hope you've recovered from the lampshade shock Mrs M and would you send some snow over here please I love it :D

Taplady - I had your cake yesterday it was very nice!

Newlywed - I would think ratpoison would be a good idea to put in his tea!! :D Only joking!

Have a good day ladies :A

We had pork loin chops covered in sweet and sour sauce last night (not very OS though ;))

Cream of mushroom soup poured over them and baking them is good.

Or mix mustard, grated cheese and a little milk and put on the top of them and bake :D

Morning everyone! I've not lost an ounce this week, am exactly the same as last - but feel more toned and quite alright so will look forward to next week's weigh-in instead.

Breakfast: Sugarpuffs w/ semi skimmed, green tea
Lunch: tuna / red pepper & light mayo sandwhich on 50:50 bread, Ski low fat yoghurt
Dinner: Chicken fajitas (w/ mushrooms, peppers etc) and salad.

No snacks today, don't have any food with me! x

    Good morning everyone.
Congratulations to all you losers - you are an inspiration.:T You are right, upping the exercise makes a massive difference even if it's just walking more.

My boys have come down with some form of "bug", one is being sick and the other has a headache and fever. Starting to feel a bit off myself and as yet can't face breakfast.

Was so hungry yesterday, and I did over-eat in the evening, mostly carbs.

MrsM, I'm not veggie but do eat a lot of them. There was a bit of minced beef and kidney beans in yesterday's chilli, but I'm taking smaller portions and I think it just isn't enough to fill me.

I'm shocked by how small recommended portions are  - a medium sized potato is the size of a computer mouse, a portion of meat / fish the size of a deck of cards, cheese a matchbox etc, etc. I've been trying to stick to daily guidelines and finding it a struggle.

Still my clothes feel looser, so I've not put weight on. The big teller is my work suits (return Monday) as they have no strech in them! I can get my size 22 jackets buttoned up over my boobs now and can still breath. :D

May consider buying scales and weighing myself before xmas.

Well done everyone for winning, I'm chuffed to bits for you all.:j:j:j

Morning Frogga, Mrs MC and all....Newlywed, how about ground glass?? TBH I have been giving that to OH for 35 years (together almost 38) and it doesn't seem to be working very well...I live in hope!

Weighed myself this morning and if I nitpicked there might be a loss of a couple of ounces! Need to up my veggie soup and salad intake, whole system seizes up if I don't consume mountains of fibre, so not really disheartened.

Congratulations to all who have lost this week....MrsMC that is wonderful consistency...will have to start walking again, nearest shop is almost 3 miles away and I'm not good at walking just for the sake of it.

    Today's meal plan:

    B Have had some strawberries and a pear with a dribble of honey;

    L Hm mixed veg and bean soup, sandwich...probably just onion and tomato;

D Gammon steak and ratatouille with baked spud, sugar free jelly.

Snacks...some brazil nuts and sesame seeds, maybe an apple

Well done all the losers :T I apoligise in advance for any typos in this post, my cat has decided to sit infront of my moniter with her tail on the keyborad!

Went to ballroom and latin dance class for the first time last night and learned to waltz, badly but it was good fun. The others hadn't eaten before so we popped into nandos after wards for dinner and a drink but I just had some pitta and red pepper dipand a couple of glasses of sangria. I'm going out tonight so there will probably be lots of wine but also lots of dancing so hopefully that'll balance it out.

    Food yesterday:
Brekke: honey shreddies and ss milk
    Lunch: cheese on toast
Tea: HM toad in the hole with potato and carrot pancakes. Hm jam slice for pud.

    Food today:
Bekkie: fruit and fibre with ss milk
Lunch: not sure yet, will see what I can find after I've phoned the college about my money I've still not got back
    Dinner: raviolli and tomato sauce.

I'm away all weekend so will let you all know if I managed to stay good whilst away on monday. Have a good weekend all

I had a couple of slices of ham for breakfast.. I know,, it isn't the best but it stayed down which is a miracle and I have tonsillitis AGAIN!!!! so eating ANYTHING is very painful.. I lost 6lb in a week last time I had it this bad! then regained it when we went on holiday and lived on chips and doughnuts for a week!

Lunch I have forced.. literally.. a cuppa and a shortbread down my neck.. note to self.. do NOT scarf biscuits STRAIGHT from the oven.. I burnt my tongue so that hurts too now! I am trying to gear myself to eat something else but everything is made of razor blades!! Might try to eat some chicken noodles.. now I've thought about it.

Dinner tonight we are having potato wedges sausages or pizza. I'm having the sausages but will have 3 instead of the usual 4 or 5..
