Hi everyone.
Thanks for the welcome. I've been pretty good today, knew there was pizza in the fridge for tea so I didn't snack all day so I could eat that without feeling too guilty. Also did my entire workout dvd (about an hour and 20mins of aerobics and bums and tums, bl*ody exhausting!) Besides the pizza I had wheatabix with natural yougurt and honey for brekkie and HM tomato soup with a mixed seed roll for lunch. I also got all my christmas card designs finished, so I'm off to town tomorrow to buy a heat tool so I can do the embossing on them then get selling on my site. Whilst in town I've got to go to the college and find out why I haven't got my course fees back yet when they cancelled my course 6 weeks ago.
Mrs Mc, those mugs are really nice. All my nice mugs are in the shed in storage since I moved home after uni because theres just no room for them. Our house is begining to resemble steptoe and sons!
Recovering spendaholic, I'm also a huge lasagne fan (as is everyone in my house). Try replacing some of the pasta layers with veg. Aubergine or courgettes work well but anything that can be cut into flat strips to layout like the lasagne sheets should work fine.I'm through accepting limits'Cuz someone says they're soSome things I cannot changeBut till I try, I'll never know!0 -

Morning everyone! And well done Frogga! You've inspired me to walk the 2.3 miles to the station tomorrow (I would today, but am a bit late now - got up at 6:30 with OH and have made a curry and peeled the potatoes for Fisherman's pie tonight).
I kept on track yesterday, but did have an extra snack of a Babybel.
Today:
B: Special K Berries w/ semi skimmed. Green tea.
L: leftover chicken stirfry (more veg than chicken), w/ few noodles. Pineapple and yoghurt (will take with me, may not eat)HM fisherman's pie (well, 'Bobbadog fish pie' anyway - cod, coley, some sort of parsley ish sauce, potatoes and cheese. Probably. Maybe a few prawns. No idea what is in the freezer, fish-wise!)
Now, off to strip the beds and get the washing machine ready for OH to turn on when he's home (don't dare leave the old thing on whilst we're not here!)
Have a lovely day at home / work everyone x0 -
Morning, glad the ride went ok frogga! my Mum and sis did a 14 mile on elast weekend for the poppy appeal and their knees were really suffering afterwards and my sis said her bottom was really sore!
Weigh in tonight for me, fingers crossed for a little loss, anything will do!
Have just had my muesli, not sure about lunch yet but tea is beef stew and dumplings which I am just about to put in the SC - this I will eat after weigh-in to either celebrate or droon my sorrows!:D
have a good day!
take care xxDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all :snow_grin
Just thought I'd get you all in the festive spirit...and NO i don't mean that in bottles... don't know what is wrong but im feeling really hap hap happy :j ....all the time  ..... still better than feeling like a grouchy pants i guess !!
Sooo how are all you lovely folks? tickety boo i hope
Well hubby has been back, had his shower, toast n coffee and gone again... taking a flask of broth and the last of the HM bread...that i only made yesterday  ..... and i would like to point out that i am only responsible for eating the 1st crust :Aand No we don't have mice... just my hubby :EasterBun .....I made a really well done crusty one yesterday..and if i say so myself it was THE best loaf of bread EVER...
i did potatoes n onions in the oven..and HM sausages for hubby (i just love them on their own) and i had the crust with mine... hubby had 2 slices... we went bowling.. hubby got back and did 4 slices/wedges with cheese n onion  and i sat on here talking to you instead.... and i have cut the piece left into 2 thick slices to go with his broth..well, had i cut it thinner..that would have left a bit and well i wasn't tempting fate and leaving it in the house with me :rotfl: .... although that means I need to make another loaf today... which i WILL NOT have any of today....
Dinner tonight is liver casserole n veggies..oh and yorkies.. hubby is in a darts comp at about 4pm...so we don't know what time he will be back...so I will have mine when im ready and hubby will have to Nuke his when he gets back
I have had my 1 wetabix and a cuppa... vaccuumed right through, tidied the living room, cleaned the bathroom and just have the last bit to do in the kitchen oh and then i just need to mop the kitchen/bathroom/hall floors... can't do the windows as its all drizzly out there:mad:
Off to the "dental hygenist" tomorrow at 10:30... then gonna get hubby to throw me out at the supermarket and i will have a wander and then poddle back.... not sure how far it is so I thought it made more sense than walking there and finding its to far to do both legs of the journey ... think I should be fine... and its weigh day friday
AliBow.... steptoe n son is my all time favourite program..reminds me of watching them with my dad... and scarily enough there is something about old man steptoe that reminds me of my dad  not the grotty bit ...just that he really didn't care what folks think! i even have some on DVD........ we have been here 3 month now and we still have some stuff in boxes;) ...but i have been reliably informed that you aren't a "proper" army wife unless you have stuff that moves from home to home and stays in its box :rotfl:
Frogga... you ARE alive :T .... now are you sure that it was your PC that was the problem ? .... or were you held over night in the local cells for dangerous riding ?:rotfl:
Its obvious why I got told im wonderful.......cos I AM :rotfl:
Bobbadog.. I love fish pie... throw in some frozen peas or sweetcorn mmm cuts through the creamy sauce mmmmm
Fingers crossed for later Taplady...oooh some one said the magic word..."dumplings"..we are down to have cornedbeef hash n dumplings tomorrow... although i would be quite happy with just dumplings ...heaven!
Well i had better go and see what i can do next.... i bet loads of posts have appeared whilst i have been typing
Keep up the good work everyone... hope we all have a great day... im sure someone has been putting E numbers in my food...far to jolly for this time of day
see you all later-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
well another day in work today - I have just eaten my melon, and am still starving, so will eat my boiled egg and bread now. You will all thow me off the thread when i admit it is cheap shop bought wholemeal bread. We don't seem to be using the breadmaker much at the moment.
We did use it alot, but I had started makeing cinamon buns with the kids - sugar, cinamon and bread dough made into a 'shape' (they are only 2 and 3). Not too healthy, and rather messy.
Planning on going to the gym at lunch time - hoping that by telling you lot I we have to go.
Well done on getting home Frogga - are you cycling again today.:j
MrsM - Xmas hampers sound good - but yours are going to be huge. Can you make some for me - I am a very indecisive shopper so often go shopping and come back empty handed - that sounds money saving, but means I then have to rush out and buy something in a panic
Taplady - good luck with the weigh in
Pigpen - you are walking fast then i run

morning all,
It's a lovely morning here so i'm gonna get my shopping trolley and toodle off to the market and see if there is anything that takes my fancy - hoping they have some more of the lovely sweet potatoes that i bought on Saturday, they were much better then any i've ever seen in Sainsburys and half the price!
Todays meals will be:
Breakfast: Slimfast shake and mango.
Dinner: wholemeal pasta with h/m tomato sauce and a braeburn apple.
Tea: Lancashire hotpot - will be my first ever attempt at making it so *fingers crossed* will do some babycorn and cabbage to go with it i think.
Snacks if needed will be rice cakes and plums as we have them coming out of our ears and nobody likes them cooked so can't even use them up in crumbles or pies etc.0 -

Morning folks !
I give up - I'd typed out most of a long post and my PC froze up and killed it  blimmin' teknollygee ! Well done Frogga and hope you have had another lovely bike ride by the time I write this ! and thanks for all the tips and recipes, folks, keep 'em coming !
Tis shaping up to be a nightmare day at work today so don't know when I will get to eat - hoping breakfast at some point is going to be tomato juice, wholemeal toast and a banana, after that who knows ! Ive got fruit to snack on so that may well be the mainstay of todays food unput ! still, will be quite active running about doing stuff and going up and down stairs at a rate a of knots !
Have a good day all" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -

MrsM, my dad has requested pickled red cabbage with his but i have a thing about 'purple' foods and drinks and just can't get on with them, always has been the case, refused it all from when i was a baby and still to this day i can't remember ever eating or drinking anything that looks purple - maybe i should close my eyes and try them though because i'm sure i really am missing out, lol.0
