Hi Frogga,Mrs Mc and all
Well last week was a disaster, was very stressed out familywise so reverted back to my bad old ways, two hand noshing, then going to bed feeling sickly,I even ate the LARGE block of choc that was in the fridge that daughter had bought her dad,so then had to buy another one to replace it before he noticed but guess what ! I ate that one too so had to buy yet another, trying to smuggle it back in was tricky as he insisted on helping me unpack the shopping, phew it was a close thing!!
Anyway I,ve got myself back on track today although I'm dreading going to the docs Tues for my check up as I am heavier than last time I went but I can at least say that I am more motivated now I have you lovely lot to chat to.:kisses3:
I KEEP LOSING WEIGHT BUT IT KEEPS FINDING MEWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Thought I'd pop in before heading for bed - been a hectic day and even though I have been on the go since 7.30am I haven't walked anything near my 10,000 steps.
I've been fantasising about walkers sensation balsamic vinager and carmalised onion crisps, eating the whole bag with some sour cream to dip, and a cuppa. Surely having fantasies about food is a bit weird....it should be dishy blokes not dishy dishes!
Maybe I've been too strict with myself on the eats today, and hence the crisps thing.
Breakfast - porridge, OJ
Lunch - HM mushroom soup, box salad, box fruits chopped up
Dinner - 1 egg omelette with ham and tomatoes, slice of HM wholemeal bread toasted (the end bit, highlight of my day!)
Snacks, apple, banana
Hope you all have a great Tuesday and a sucessful day of eating lovely healthy food. (Off to bed now, and will try not to dream about crisps..mmm...)0 -

Morning all
Wasn't expecting you to be here this early frogga....could swear that there was a news flash about some unidentified green object hurtling through the Ipswich area on a bike .... sending pedestrians flying and running cars off the road:rotfl: ....will those big feet fit on the pedals???
well its damp outside at the moment..but im keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't rain anymore as i want a poddle to that supermarket i spotted.. all those little cals burnt count ..... I have lost a week off my xmas target you know:eek:
I have 5 weeks after this fridays weigh in..and had a target of 21lb - I have 16.5lb to shift to hit it...still i will see how close i can get... Not going to get stressed about it.... even if i just shift 9.5lb that will be 3st gone :T
Well its tatties n onions in the oven for dinner tonight, will do hubby some HM sausages with his, and need to get another loaf made...
Turbo gran.... your saga with the choc reminded me of my BIL...my sis got him one of those huge bars of fruit n nut (the ones in a cardboard sleeve) as a xmas wrap up one year.... when xmas day came and he unwrapped his pressies, sis was really confused and thought she was losing the plot and had got him a bar of whole nut.... BIL was bright red and then he confessed that he had eaten it... run around everywhere to replace it but could only get whole nut :rotfl:
Don't beat yourself up about it, its over and done with now and you are right..you will be able to sit with your GP and tell him that you are doing something about the extra weight...and you are doing it sensibly too :T
Keiss21 .........._party_ well done on the loss
AliBow.....hello and welcome..... hope you find this place as helpfull as i do... they are a wonderful bunch..
Meanmarie...thats it..keep frogga in line... she runs riot when you aren't about you know
hi recovering.. :T That food doesn't look too bad at all... only a couple of extras... and we all need those some days...Keep up the good work :T
Pig pen.. my SIL gained loads and her little boy was only 5lb9oz, my SIS also gained loads, and was constantly told, "no, no its not a big baby" went into labour, refused any help until it was to late for epidural etc.... and baby eventually arrived weighing in at 11lb9oz and 59cm long  ... we nearly lost sis through it...
I haven't even got the excuse that its "baby weight" as we havent had any yet :rotfl: is 35 too old for puppy fat :rotfl: if not -then its St Bernard puppy fat i have :rotfl:
Well i had better go and get my weetabix mmmmm and then get changed and have that wander...see how many cals i can shift....
hope we all have a great day.... keep up the good work everyone-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning Frogga, Ms M and everyone else
I just had a very naughty peek at the bathroom scales, and am happy... but will wait until weigh-day on Friday to see for sure!
Today:
B: Special K w/ semi skimmed, green tea (and gonna clean the bathroom very fast in a moment - calorie burn!)
L: salad, rice noodles, ski yoghurt, pineapple
S: few cashews / raisins / japanese rice crackers (and rice cakes if i'm desperate)chicken stirfry. Pineapple for desert.
Have a doctors appt at 9;10, so depending on how quickly and ferociously I clean the bathroom, may powerwalk the mile up hill to surgery x
Oooh btw - last night whilst OH had beef burgers I made an aubergine and courgette concoction - like a stack in a granary roll, w/ a tiny bit of cheese and spicy tom relish on top - and it was rather amazing, if i do say so myself! x0 -
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Mrs M , I've got it out and ready but have to take Tadpoles to school first! I've got my scarf and gloves ready and a bottle of water! I so look the part!:rotfl:
Have a good one guys xSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Brrrr it's chilly this morning! Reached 2 deg. C last night, has crept up to 4.4 deg. now, so am having porridge for brekkie...mmmmm. I wasn't sure could eat it all, but managed it! After I have eaten, will wrap up warm and walk dog and burn off some calories...looks like it will be a lovely day...no fog today yippeee!
Must go and survey firework damage in garden. Neighbour had a big show last night...dog went ape..doesn't like the noise! Some of the rockets landed on our conservatory, but no damage done. I'll pick up the wreckage before dog decides that they make good toys.
Meals for today:
B: Porridge made with half water-half soya milk, pinch of salt, a spoonful of sugar and some raisins.
fruit
L: HM soup, 1 slice bread, small slice of cheese
fruit
T: Tomato sandwich...working tonight.
I might take a jar of Highlights to work ..the only hot drink I take (except hot Ribena...mmmm). Don't like tea or coffe and only drink hot drinks when I am cold...and even then only rarely!
Off to wrap up, dog getting restless.

Morning all and what a lovely morning it is out there ! cold but very bright and sunny.
frogga, its wonderful weather out there, just stick to cycling when its nice like this and use the car if its really grotty and you'll be ok ! Waddy thanks for the soup recipe - looks great ! I would probably blend half and leave half " lumpy "welcome Alibow - I just cancelled my gym membership, I'm sure I can get enough excercise without paying out all that money - dancing about to cheesey pop is very good for you
Katkin, no, you're not the only one that sits dreaming about food LOL - funnily enough it seems to happen mainly at my weekend job, sometimes I sit and entertain my colleagues with a running commentary on my changing cravings
Going to hop into the bath and then wander off out later, whither I do not know but OUT. Got some tomato juice that needs using up so that will feature heavily as part of meals over the next couple of days. Breakfast will be tomato juice, ryvita and the last of the cold chicken and a banana. Not sure about the rest of it yet !
Have a good day all" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -
Did you miss me??:p
I have been for my walk to the supermarket and im back :rotfl: ..1hr and 20 mins...i was walking... well i walked there and back at a good rate..to make up for the slowwww dawdling I did whilst in the shops... heck im all warm!!!! -that had better have burnt some more wobble :rotfl: got some more goodies for my hamper...I swear -in this last 2 weeks i have bought more "goodies" than i normally do in a year
... got me some more bargains though :T
came back with a bottle of red wine, 2 small bottles of fizzy stuff, a marzipan stollen, 2 bars of choc , a big salami, some organic fruit tea bags and 3 chocolate santas filled with smarty things..for roughly £6 :j and its all for hampers :A .... forgot to have any brekkie so i may well have my weetabix in a moment...
It's now tipping it down out there....it waited for me to get home -im amazed :j
Bobbadog... are you peeking at those scales again? you wouldn't catch me doing something like that..honest
I know its not "good" to be jumping on and off, but i admit that sometimes it really helps me to have a sneaky peek to see whats happening.. i only count from friday to friday...but do sometimes trip when coming out of the bathroom and fall on the scales..twice... well i have to step on it to activate them and then wait for th 00.00 to come up and then fall on again :rotfl:
Frogga ..oooooh how i wish i still lived in Ipswich..i would have made the effort to come and see your maiden voyage.... not that i would have hit you with a bottle of champagne mind
well had better get my weetabix befor it becomes lunch.. have a good one all:D-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
