    morning!

    Well done Frogga:T

i agree with what some of you said about clothes sizes, it seems to me that lots of people squeeze themselves into clothes that are too small so that every bulge shows:eek: not me, I like to hide mine!

i have lost 1 and a half stone and dropped from a 16 to a 14 and am rapidly approaching a 12, depending on the shop as they all vary so much.Being pear shaped my bottom half is definitely larger than the top and I have lost a lot of weight off my boobs:rolleyes: not sure that DH too pleased about that but he does like the new slim me! I said to him I cant be slim and have big knockers!:D you cant have it all! I find it hard to adjust to my new shape - still see myself as large and try to cover up but I am getting better. Last week I actually bought a skirt:eek: my first one in years but havent had the courage to wear it yet!Could do with some help from Trinny and Susannah I think!

Today I'm on a green day which is lots of veggies, fruit, pasta and spuds.

breakfast - 2 small seeded toasts and marmalade

    banana/grapes

jacket spud and baked beans and salad possibly

    yoghurt

    dinner - WW curry(again - I like it!:p )

Am off tapdancing tonight and also doing DS2s paper round so lots of exercise for me!

    have a great day all!

Well done everyone to all the losses ;)

I have lost 17 lbs and no-one has noticed. Not anyone. Cept OH but he knew so doesn't count. Gone down a dress size, can get into older clothes. The only thing people have said is - that a new skirt? (Nope it's old just haven't been able to so much as squish into it for a good couple of years!!). Wish just one person would say "you're looking slim", "have you lost weight?". Anything :(

Nevermind. I know my jeans are getting too big now, my belt needs another hole in it, and my bulgy bits are less.

OH has noticed the reduction in my womanly curves and has complained but like taplady I said well if you want me to have bigger boobs then I'll have to put weight on and get fat again!! No! was the answer ;)

And Frogga - well done. Just think a stone a month means that in 6 months time, when the weather is getting better and everyone is wearing shorts and short summer skirts, you could quite possibly be 10 stone ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • Alfiesmum - I can only echo MrsM's words ( as per usual, LOL :D ) no loss is to be sniffed at and well done !

frogga - a stone in a month is incredibly good ! keep in mind this time its going to stay off - no miracle rapid weightloss and then it piling back on again ! well done :)

newlywed - feel the same here, usually if I lose weight someone will comment but no one has this time LOL !! its ok though, I know I have :)

Gotta whizz and do work stuff for now, have a good day all :)

  • Morning All!

Congratulations Frogga! :T That's amazing! :D I have also weighed myself and found I have lost - drumroll please........ 3lb! Giving me a total loss of 4lb in a month.:rotfl:

Ok, so it's not much, but it's going in the right direction...

Congratulations to everyone for losing and for staying positive.

I think half the time, it isn't that people don't notice when we've lost weight, it's that people don't naturally compliment each other. I try to make a point of saying at least three nice things every day - comes from having a really shtty boss a few years ago who was always negative and never said thank you  -always made me feel awful. I figure if I make someone else feel good, they'll pass it on and it may get back to me eventually!:D

So from me to everyone here - "Wow, you're looking really good - did you lose weight?" :D

Well done on resisting the sweeties MrsM - not sure I could have done, but we live in a flat so never get TorTd. Did send some down to my niecelet though (she's still too small to be a niece!) and didn't nick any before sealing the envelope! :A

Keiss - good luck with the teacher training! I survived it a few years ago, so if you want any advice, feel free to pm me. ;) Now I just need to find another job - shortage of teachers my a:mad: !!!:rotfl:

Right - I'm off to see if the Uni shop will buy any of my old text books - I'm that broke!

Have a good day everyone and I'll talk to you later!

:hello: hi all - thanks for letting me join in!

Thought I'd introduce myself - I'm a SAHM to 2 boys 3 and 5 (yesterday!). I started off at 9 stone (and never appreciated it!!) then with each child held on to a stone. Then things went from bad to worse when I was working full time - a year of sitting on my bum eating biscuits in an office instead of being run ragged by two little boys added another stone.

So my weight at the mo is 12 stone - I'd like to be 10 stone by next June (holiday with friends - would like to wear my bikini!) and just generally more toned.

I do a bit of exercise - generally running around after my boys (I dont drive so walk everywhere) - I swim once a week and have started using the vibrogym twice a week - does anyone have any experience of them? Do they work?? I've gone 2x a week for a month and haven't seen a difference.

The exercise I do just about keeps my weight steady as I love my food and wine abit too much. Hubby and I are real foodies so it'll be tough but something has to be done now - I'm sick of not being able to fit into my clothes!!

Well done to all who have weighed less this month.
Steady and slow, but as I am unable to exercise much because of the M.E. I am pleased with my progress. - 2lb
Visited both daughters this month too, so had meals out.

Good morning all........ struggling a bit again today.(Mentally) After two good weeks, up pop the demons in my head telling me I wont succeed etc. I must strive to get out of this cycle of thought.Difficult though when you have never had a positive self image.
However, today is a new day and breakfast was one slice of wholemeal toast with some mackerel , followed by a low fat shape yoghurt. Lunch will be home made soup. Dont know what Dinner will be. Any ideas folks? I am spending too much on shopping since i started this `diet`. Any old style ideas welcomed. Thanks, and have a good day every-one.

  • Elaine - tell those demons to be quiet!!!!

When we are changing ourselves self doubt creeps in. I think this is due to psychology preparing ourselves for if we fail. But you have been so good today and not listened. Well done you.
