Right its Mcdonalds day today. We meet my hubby and that's the only place to go for lunch where he works. So do you think a chicken mcnuggets childrens meal with an apple pie would be ok? Any other ideas welcomed!

Welcome ebaybaby ! we tend not to use the dreaded D word around here too, it helps tremendously :D

Good luck with the leg shaving frogga... umm... weightlosing ideas... got any spots to squeeze ? :D

pigpen, hope you managed to forage something suitable for your hunger - I find low fat ovaltine or similar drink helps those kinds of pangs late at night too.

    Hey ebaybaby

I'm trying to be a regular on here, but not doing very well but your hello post inspired me! Just had some lovely porridge (bought, but at least not a chocolate croissant :o ) for breakfast and aiming for soup for lunch.

    Have healthy days everyone :D

Um, frogga, when I used to go to weigh-ins in the ladies everyone was taking off jewlerry, belts etc. :rotfl: Which is of course something I never did...:o

    Morning all :D

Well, hubby has just left for work again.... twice a week he goes to work, does PT, comes home for a shower and some brekkie , gets his uniform on and back off to work..what a faff....

Anyway, hubby had 2 thick slices of HM bread-toasted and buttered... i had 2 weetabix :A ... was going to have toasty..but knew i would miss my weetabix..how sad can you get :p .... and to top it all - i am now struggling to eat 2 weetabix at a time:eek: .. so tomorrow i will drop to 1 at a time... i am gob smacked. I used to be able to eat 4 at a time -no problem:o .... still its a good thing i guess - plus my 7 boxes of weetabix will last me about 6 months :rotfl:

Hubby has tootled off to work with a big flask of spicy pork goulash broth and 2 thick slices of bread and a flask of coffee.. so he is happy. I can't believe that the area that he works in has had the water supply switched off  .. so they have no facilities to make coffee, wash their hands or any loos - they have to trundle off to another area -really practical... they are flaming mechanics for crying out loud... and are freezing their bits off!! my hubby is the only one who has anything warm to eat.... its ridiculous... still as long as my hubby is Ok- i can't do anything about the others...

Well dinner tonight is :- liver casserole, mashed potato/swede/celeriac , brussels, broccoli and cabbage :T

    Hi Ebaybaby and welcome

Shake hands... i have done all those .. and some extra too :p ... and have finally banished the dreaded "D" word....and am now doing just what you are going to do... eat good, proper meals - in sensible amounts... it has been soooo liberating. Not thinking..."how many points" "what cals" "how many gram of fat".."how many g of carb?" "can i have that" etc
Now im really enjoying my food for the first time in years.. and i taste every mouthfull.
Im sure you will find it really useful on here... they are a lovely bunch too - which helps...

Pigpen.... sorry i had gone to bed before your hunger got you.... hope you got through the evening OK!

Morning Frogga... im getting cramp in my piggies.. roll on tomorrow :p

    Morning Kittyscarlett ...:D

MushyPeas.. Don't forget that on those weigh days.. you used go to the loo as often as possible too:p
It used to crease me.. our class was in the morning..thank god... and folks would get off the scales, sit down and start frantically rummaging through their handbags... some of the food that would appear... nearly the whole class would sit there munching :rotfl: ..just because they wouldn't eat Before taking on the dreaded scales:rotfl:

Well i hope everyone has a good day..keep up the great work folks -that christmas is sneaking up... keep those xmas targets in mind..we can do it :T
