Boy, am I glad to see you lot again
No slip-ups here. Well, no *unplanned* slip-ups, anyway;) . I hope everyone else has come through the weekend and successfully navigated any potential pitfalls too.
Did I mention that I'm extremely pleased to see you all again?!
(And well done, Martin. Don't let the barstewards grind you downEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
Hi everyone,
Well I have a confession to make, I have been away on holiday to Vegas and I have been very bad.....very very bad.......I got married!!!
It was planned and was part of the motivation in me losing some weight but I plan to carry on as before and make these permanent changes to the way I eat and cook. I put on 3lbs while we were away but I'm certainly not going to beat myself up over it, I enjoyed everything that passed my lips and ate much less than I normally would have so I feel good about getting back on track.
I hope everyone is well after the lapse in support over the weekend, its made me realsie how addictive these forums are!0 -
Oooh! Congratulations, floyd! You're right not to worry about gaining a little while you were away (if you can gall gaining 100lbs+ of husband 'a little'!). I think there are probably one or two ways that newlyweds can burn off any excess poundageEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0

Floyd _party_  .... congratulations..... Glad you had a lovely time... I think a 3lb gain is very restrained when you have had such a major thing to celebrate.. so well done:T

Well i hope everyone has made it through the weekend OK... I managed to trundel along as usual - Im sure part of it was that i knew that at sometime i was gonna be coming back on here - see, even when we can't talk.. you are still that little voice in my head :j
Clarabel.... see, you were visiting family this weekend.. and we were all off line with you - Now that is REAL support :rotfl: -hope you had a great time!
Well i have been fine with my food choices this weekend... and out of sheer boredom i typed up my next 6 weeks worth of menus - and i WILL go on every evening to see what im having the following day and get it out of the freezer if need be. Hoping to stash most of this months housekeeping budget- apart from a bit of fresh veg in a few weeks and perhaps a bit of extra milk.. im not planning on buying anything...
So -dinner tonight is fish with hm parsley sauce mashed potato/swede, carrots, romanesco and brussels
well i will get off, and catch up with you all once your posts appear....
Welcome back folks :T

Well done all you losers! I have to admit that I fell of the wagon last week (due to no MSE) but now I am a fully dedicated dieter. :-)

Morning everyone, hope we're all doing well and full of confidence for the week ahead!
I had a really good weekend, kept myself so occupied i can honestly say i didn't think about food once aside from meal times.
Todays meals will be:
Breakfast - slimfast shake (only 8 tins of the stuff to go)
Dinner - homemade veggie soup and a homemade roll- got a little excited at the fruit and veg stall on saturday i have tonnes and tonnes of veggies that need using up.
Tea - It's just me and dd tonight as my parents are out celebrating my mums 60th so i think we'll probably have a spaghetti bolognaise because nobody else eats it so we don't get to have it as often as we'd like.
Snacks will be fruit, fruit and more fruit as a result of saturdays shopping lol.
Really trying to up my water intake but it tastes *meh*, i'm sure i'll get used to it :rolleyes:0
