  • Well done on your weight loss MrsM ! :T :j

I understand some of the problems around swimming, Frogga. It would be probably fair to say I like swimming but I don't like all the faff that goes with it. Not bothered about people drying their bits but all the palaver getting in and out does my head in, plus I freak out about the slippy floors ( always convinced I am going to slip up and hurt myself ) One of the solutions if not accompanying tadpoles is to go at really offpeak times - my local pool runs early bird and evening " adults only " sessions. I did used to go to the latter but what finally put the kybosh in that was one of the lifeguards chivvying me out of the shallow end " because theres not enough of us on duty to keep an eye on you down there ". I got really cross because although I like being in the water I'm a really poor and nervous swimmer. It takes a lot for me o actually get over the threshold of the swimming pool centre doors let alone get in the pool. So I didn't go back after that :(

Today's going to be a bit of a suck it and see day. No definite prospect of breakfast as have someone coming to view a vacant flat and they are appearing any time between 9am - 1pm  still got pre TOTM ick so don't feel very hungry anyway. Where I have to be wary with that is, I'll feel unhungry for hours on end and don't want to think about food and then WHAM - I need food NOW - and feel too tired or disinclined to cook so end up eating rubbish.

Hope you have a good day all :)

    Can i join in?

I've weighed myself this morning and it's quite depressing. Back to where I was in January when I last started trying to lose weight - I lost just under 1.5 stone but then had a lot of carp at work and started eating rubbish again and never stopped!:o

So I'm 5ft 4 and 13st 9. It's now just over 8 weeks to Christmas so if I join in the Christmas challenge and aim for 10lbs then that'll take me just under 13st for Christmas.

I've done both WW and SW in the past mainly SW though but this time I'll just try and cut out the carp and try some portion control!

    We'll see

I hate sharing water with loads of people is suspect of peeing in it. I hate the plasters , and worse , that float about in the water. I hate the way people look at you in your cossy. I hate the way all your clothes get wet when you try and change in the cubicles. And I hate the way some "ladies" flaunt their nakedness when changing ~ rubbing all their bits dry for all to see! Even if you try REALLY hard not to look , I always seem to look accidentally , then I look like a weirdo!:o Anyway , as you can see I don't think much of swiming!

Ha ha. That's so me!! I love the actual swimming bit but hate everything you've put there - suspicion of pee, changing rooms - all of it :D :rotfl: I keep debating starting it up as exercise but the thought of our local pool with all those kids, changing rooms, nope.

Anyway, well done to all those losing ;) I have to report I have done a sneaky early weigh in and being broke, not having much food in the house and having no heating seem to have worked well for me this week and I have lost 2 lbs - hope that stays the same on weighday ;)

Still doing porridge for breakfast and soaking the oats overnight before cooking.

Lunch is more couscous (packet is empty now though).

Tea will be HM chilli from the freezer.

Snacks will be banana, apple (from yesterday but still isn't that appealing) and probably after tea will be toast and honey ;)

Payday today and slow cooker is due to arrive also. Which means I have to do a big food shop in my lunch hour too as I HATE saturday supermarkets  Sunday will be "bits" from Lidl.

    morning!

    well done to MRSM again!:T

I am in the dumpling lovers club too!;) having them with stew next week:drool:
I dont like swimming either for the reasons mentioned earlier and the changing rooms always look dirty especially the floor - I hate walking on it barefoot there's always hair on it:eek: and the fact that people spit the water out of their mouthes into the pool - yuk!_pale_

I've had 27g porridge (using up the last oat so simple) and a small slice of wholemeal toast for brekkie. Might be going out to lunch with a friend but it will be a healthy choice as she's a member of WW. Dinner/tea is HM cottage pie and veggies.

Hope you all have a good day!

Hmmm looking at that portion, I think I may have think about cutting down on my 50g of jumbo porridge oats that the packet suggests. :undecided

Don't know why but I couldn't get on the board yesterday at all, must have been our stupid system at work but never mind I'm hear today :D

I had a huge pizza last night  - OH's choice as we were going out straight after work, I didn't have anything else during the evening though - not even a cup of tea as there was nothing on offer!!!
Today - I've had toast and marmalade for brekie, just had a banana and am nibbling on a snack pack of nuts and fruit. Lunch will be whatever they've got that's veggie in the refectory and tea will be whatever I can concoct from the cupboards - it's not payday until Tuesday

Well done to all the losers :A , I didn't weigh myself this morning but feel slimmer - my pants are loose, must be all the walking :T :T
