hello all, woke up this morning with a horrible cold - was fine when i went to bed so it's all very weird.
Coughed and spluttered my way through 30 minutes on my exercise bike this morning so felt really chuffed with myself because up until this week ANY excuse to avoid doing exercise would've done.
I had a slimfast shake for breakfast this morning - a friend had an enormous haul of them and was going to throw them away because she didn't like the taste so i've given them a home and it's encouraging me to get some calcium into my diet (lactose intolerant and don't like the taste of soya milk, so the slimfast does help)
i had an enormous bowl of salad with pickled onions, cornichons and crab for dinner and tea will be homemade mince and onion pie with lots of veg hoping that it keeps both DD and i warm whilst at the football this evening, it's freezing out there and she hasn't an inch of fat on her so worry she'll get cold  but it's part of her birthday treat and she's already bouncing around with excitement so will have to wrap her up very warm.
Hope you're all well and still on track - thanks for the lovely reciepe's MrsM, i will most definately be tring some at the weekend as although i don't eat sweets, they'll go down very well with the rest of the household.0 -
Still hungry
Ate lunch ages ago. Only got an apple left - don't fancy it at all.
Trying to work out my month's menu plan and shopping list (for payday - hopefully tomorrow) probably doesn't help
Still waiting for my slow cooker to arrive so can't really plan too many things that I can't do on the hob :rolleyes:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Oooh I have some slimfast upstairs... why didn't anyone remind me... I don't know.. call yourselves motivators!!
Chocolate flavour so it might actually fulfill my chocolate craving.. we shall see.
I've found something else I like.. lentil paté.. I just made some for the first time EVER and it is delish.. even though I had to keep stirring it through the blender because it is carp and wouldn't mix it properly.. must invest in a better one!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hi all,
Right been a mixed day today.
brekie - weetabix
lunch - Mcdonalds chicken burger (would of been a big mac) chips (just eat a quarter) and an orange juice. Apple pie ;-)
Tea - 2 cobs with low fat mayo and beef.
ok I know not great. But hey its not OTT. Gym again tomorrow.
I think (because its suits me) that its ok to have one day where we have a bit more than usual. Just make sure the rest of the week is back on track.

Evening all
Well today i have had :-- 2 weetabix
- 4 ryvita/crispbread with lowfat cream chees and an apple
- and corned beef hash and dumpling  ...and im stuffy puddled
... hubby had his with 2 dumplings... and there is enough put into a dish and in the fridge and on saturday i will put a pastry lid on it:p .. and there was loads of liquid and scrummy bitts left..so i put the rest of the stock back in - threw in loads of lentils..cooked em and have blitzed it into a pan of soup..enough for 2 flasks for hubby... not bad for 1/3 of a tin of corned beef :rotfl:
Pig pen.. how can anyone not like dumplings  ....scrummy.... Im really odd - i can't stand bread with meals... and as for dipping bread in soup  ... but i do like hash in a yorkieMust make a fresh loaf of bread tomorrow mind....
Ellas.. ouchhhhh  ... after reading your post i decided to follow your example and tried to get my eyebrows back under control.... heck - must keep on top of them in future
My journey of weight loss may well be more of a round the world tripso i have allready started using my lovely cleanser, toners etc... and i have a yummy non oily satin spray that you spray on and rub in after a bath... its lovely.... i got them last time we were in Germany and used to use them religiously..and im doing it again....
A nice os treat i like is to put some porridge oats into the foot of an old tight and tie it round the tap so the bath water runs through it.. its really gentle and moisturising - and if i remember correctly its good for calming excema (sp)
A bit of oil with some salt or sugar makes a nice scrub -especially with a drop of essential oil... just be carefull not to slip
and a scrub made with coffee grounds is suposed to help cellulite - not that our house use THAT much fresh coffee :rotfl:
Hels-Bells -hope you are feeling a bit better...
Newly wed... i do the same thing with cook books... sit there reading through making myself hungry :rotfl: i should know better by now...
I have decided to use up the HM stuff that i have in the freezer... which should take a good 6 weeks :rotfl: and then start doing some different meals.. only problem is there are certain meals that neither of us would want to give up
Hubby:- HM sausages casseroled
Me:- corned beef hash, liver casserol
and both of us roast chicken dinnerso i guess that leaves me 3 things a week, which isn't bad i guess.....
Well its weigh day in the morning...good luck to any one else jumping on the scales...well gently tippy toeing on
hope everyone is having a good evening and feeling possitive:D-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
