Hi all, great to be back, didn't realise how dependant I was!

Wasn't at my best over weekend, out Friday and Saturday nights so I think that they will have to be written off. Yesterday wasn't good either as I had a couple of slices of chocolate sponge and a chocolate eclair that someone gave me...would have been rude not to eat it!

Today I have eaten: 2 weetabix, banana spoon honey and milk, white coffee.
2 slices fresh pineapple, half large cooking apple, no sugar.
Dinner will be liver, bacon, onions, carrots and mash....maybe some more apple, we have loads and I find that they are ok without sugar.
May have some hm pumpkin soup later on to fill the gaps if necessary.

Congrats losers and welcome to newbies

    Marie

Today has been another very hard day. Feeeling really fed up, so went out in the afternoon to browse some charity shops. Walked past Greggs` the bakery and was so close to going in for a pasty and cake! The only thing that stopped me is that its my weigh in day tomorrow, so i went into m&s and got some low fat crisps and satsuma`s. The compulsion to overeat is very overwhelming and i know for me its going to be a struggle at times. So, today i have had..........
Breakfast- 1 slice of ww fruit bread with banana and 27g of porridge,
Lunch- was the crisps and satsuma, plus when i got home i had h.m soup with two ryvitas and elf.1 shape yoghurt
Dinner- will be omelette made with two eggs, tomato, mushrooms.
I dont feel so bad now i have written it down. Will let you know how my weigh in goes in the morning. Take care all and keep up the good work.:j

  • Well, I have eaten loads today, and way too much bread - LOL - but was very active - walking a lot - and went out 2-3 times and didn't nap so feel in a healthier mindset than have been of late, also TOTM is nearly gone which helps a lot. I bought about a dozen books from charity shops including more cookery books - weee ! inc. a very unintentionally funny Heinz Beans cookbook ( baked beans gazpacho anyone ? ) which does actually have a couple of useful recipes, and a Jane Grigson book, she's one of my favourite cookery writers :)

Brunch was hm ham sandwich, indonesian vegetable crisps things from waitrose, radishes, cherry toms, cucumber and celery, diet cafeeine free coke, cranberry juice and a chocolate muffin :P

Had hm roast beef roll and an apple at 4pm, two big glasses of water, glass of milk and 2 buttered crumpets :D

Have just persuaded myself to start the washing up, supper will likely be fruit, pastrami, cottage cheese, a fruit smoothie and some oatcakes.

Welcome RoxieW ! as Mrs M said, people weigh in at different times ( or not at all if you're me :D but I have dropped a dress size in the last month so I must be doing something right in spite of the slip ups ! )

Evening everyone...hope all are well :)

I've been ok...trying to balance not working (which means less active) with cutting down on the amount I eat whilst still ensuring I eat enough...such fun! Plus, I have a tooth infection, and am finding chewing difficult.

Breakfast was a toasted teacake, lunch sweetcorn ommlette and dinner was a sandwich with philadelphia extra light. I've also had a banana, satsuma and grapes during the day.

    Hugs to everyone x

    helllllllllllooooooo

well i've decide that i wil weigh myself tomorrow night and that can be poper day one of knowing what my weight is actually doing.

My weekend was lovely, I ate lots but I really enjoyed it, and believe me when I say no one could resist my dad's cookng!

This week is pretty manic for me, kids have halloween parties, brownies, school discos, and everything else under the sun. I'm feelig knackered, BUT
I haven't been too bad so far, since yesterday, petty ok, and I cycled to work and back yesterday so I'm chuffed about that! I got a nice new cycling rain jacket in aldi that's bright yellow so I feel happier in dark mornings/afternoons on my bike now too.

Made a big vat of butternt squash and ginger soup which is lunch sorted for the week with a wm pitta each day and fruit for snacks. It's the evenings where I lose my resolve...!

thanks for all the lovely support, I really like it here!!

    take care!

    Evening all :D

Well back from watching hubby bowl... drank 1 diet coke and 3 huuuge glasses of sparkling water - so will no doubt be up n down all night :p

Got through another day.... had my weetabix, then 4 ryvita jobbies with low fat cream cheese and hm beef spread, a couple of apples an then my fish with parsley sauce.. mash n veggies.. just got in and decided to try a new yoghurt.. stollen flavour ... don't ask... had 2 spoons and shoved it in the fridge (hubby said he will eat it:p )... not my kind of thing at all...bleughhh.. i didn't just shove it down anyway -which i would have done before... have finally clicked that if im not enjoying it..im not eating it
Hubby sat with 4 slices of fresh hm bread, strong cheddar n onion ... pinched a bite - and that satisfied me :T

Toonie... hope your tooth is better soon

:j I had no idea how addicted i was to this site til it was taken away from me.

Hello to everyone! Heeeellooo to newbies, just to add, my aim is to lose weight by eating properly home made food and not resorting to ready meals and low fat high additive processed foods, and lots of fruit.

I'm glad a few others have been stuffing the food in when the rest of us weren't looking just like me:rotfl:
I bought in all the hallow'een sweeties at the weekend and I've been munching constantly. Add to that I had a deadline to meet last week and I spent several very late nights working and I get the late nite munchies, so eating toast and hunny late at night - not good.
I also had a shock - I weigh in at the gym on a sat am, (I take DS2 to karate at the sports centre so I joined the gym rather than sit at the coffee shop with a large latte and caramel shortcake) and this week I found out that the scales I was using hadn't been calibrated. So they'd re-set them and i don't know if I've lost or gained. I'll start my weiging again - I was 73.8 kilos I can't remember what that was in old money but I'll ask google.
