Don't worry, you're not the only one who seems to have had a bread obsession over the last few days  I'd been doing really well and then for some reason started tucking into the bread again like it was the last day it was ever going to be available on Earth :rotfl: I blame the sudden drop in temperature... quite obviously our bodies are telling us to get ready for hibernation...:o I am determined to avoid it today though - even two days of scoffing bread left me feeling bloated and sluggish.

So come on Eumenidies, you're not alone and the step back up onto the wagon is not of a dizzying height - up you come ! try and think of some nice warming and comforting OS treats that you can have to cheer you up - a nice fresh veggie soup maybe or how about some baked apples ? you don't need to use tons of sugar or anything with them, just core them and fill with dried fruit and a trickle of honey - yum !

    oooooooooooooh can I join please?

i need someone to confess to, as my attempts at going solo on losing weight are a complete failure!!

    Some stuff about me...

I'm a working mum with 2 kids who are now nearly 5 and nearly 8. DS (nearly 5) was a whopper of a baby and my body never quite recovered from it's huge state!(10lb60z natural birth!):o

Now i'm sick of being big, and to top it all off, mysister has lost weight recently and looks fab! (grrrr....sibling jealousy rears even in my 30's!)

So, I weigh 13 stone 3:eek: , and I'm 5'10" tall, reckon I have 2 stone to lose. I just want to be a size 14, as that's what sits well.

so are we following plans or not|? If anyone has any fab inspirations, I'd love to hear them!

    speak soon.

    Morning all.

Well the boiler engineer came yesterday... couldn't sort it and apparently needs to pressurize the whole system to get rid of the air locks so will have to be booked in for another day  So still cold!! ~Thankfully the water can be heated by electric so although that costs a fortune we can have a warm bath ;)

But I did manage to keep busy while waiting for the boiler bloke to arrive and managed to not eat all afternoon, so that's something :)

Cooked some couscous for my lunch today and weighed my daily porridge amount into plastic bags (the less I have to do in the mornings the better - I am so not a morning person ;) )

Tonight's tea will be chilli from the freezer. Friday is payday and the electric meter needs feeding so don't have much food options ;)
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • Thanks KittyScarlet! :D

It's definitely the cold weather - not the fact that I'm greedy! :rotfl: Hmmm... I have some pumpkin in the fridge... might make some soup with that for tonight.

  • Good morning to all you wonderful people, here's hoping that having to confess all on here stops the irn bru being so appealing! :o

Yesterday the exercise bike i ordered from amazon arrived (free with vouchers from surveys etc!) so i can now start doing some more exercise as not totally confident with exercising infront of people in my current state

    Today i'll be having:

Breakfast - Slimfast Shake and strawberries.
Dinner - Prawn Salad and mango.
Tea - Mince on the pan, cabbage, babycorn and green beans.

I did 30 minutes on the bike first thing this morning and will do another 30 minutes this evening.

Oh, i forgot to declare a target for the Christmas challenge, so i'll be conservative and go for 10lb so just over a lb a week - if i acheive more wonderful.

Good luck to everyone for today! x

OMG what a lot of posts
Welcome newbies, well done to the losers

Well, I had a good day yesterday, no pigging, gym at lunchtime, little swim and a steam/sauna after work and a civilised journey home!!:T :T
Had sweet potato stew with lime and coriander rice for tea, then a packet of snackajacks and a small glass of wine during the evening.:D

Today - toast and marmalade for brekkie, just had one of those kiddie portion cheese sticks and a banana.
Lunch is a feta and salad sandwich, I have a bag of lowfat crisps for emergencies and tea will be spinach crispbake with SW chips and a veggie of some description.
I will try to get to the gym at lunchtime but won't worry if I can't as I'm walking over an hour a day to and from the station now so that's good for me isn't it :j

I like this listing what I've eaten/plan to eat, it makes me think about balanced meals more........I can see a definite cheese theme in my meals today!!:o

Have a good day people :A
