Weighed myself at the weekend and found I have lost 1 and a half stone in 2 weeks!!!! I was really good at the weekend. Went to a cafe with the inlaws and they all had chips etc etc and I had tinned tomatos on toast. I'm keeping the diet a secret at the moment as I don't want everyone to laugh if I fail. But Paul McKenna really does seem to be working his magic on me.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Well done, Black Saturn, and everybody else who's losing. I don't think I'm taking this seriously enough, and my scales are definitely in agreement with me. The last two weeks have seen me bouncing up and down off the wagon so often that I'm thinking of calling this 'The Pogo Stick Diet'.
Still, it's got to be better than the 'Fig-Leaf Salad Diet' that Eve put Adam on for a fortnight - he said it was 'pants'.
That's it - no more messing around. STRICTLY taking this seriously from now on in.Eek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
Grats blacksaturn, you must be really pleased
! - take it steady now, as princesstippytoes says, slow and gradual is the key - that way there's a better chance of it staying off and you won't have to worry about failing or people laughing at you
pounds and pensive - awww now, just because you've been falling on/off the wagon doesn't mean you're not taking it seriously ! maybe take a look back over the last couple of weeks and see what the factors are that have caused you problems, and how are they tacklable ?" Baggy, and a bit loose at the seams.. "~ November 8th 2008. Now totally DEBT FREE !~0 -
I made a mess of the last post so I will try again.
Well done on losing so much weight black saturn but you have to be careful. Even if you are very very overweight it is not healthy to lose that amount in such a short time. I dont want to rain on your parade but 21 lbs in two weeks could be very dangerous to your health. Thats more than 10 lbs a week. Good luck with shifting the rest but best to do it a bit slower.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Find joy in the simple things, show your love for those around you and be grateful for all that you have.0 -
TBH, I don't know how I've lost that much. I havn't done any more physical exercise than normal in the last 2 weeks and I can't say I've been hungry at any point. I've just cut out all sugar and treats.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Cutting out sweet things doesnt seem to work for me. I have less than a stone I to lose and I have been doing the same. I would like to know what the diet is and if you dont want to share it publicaly could you send me a message? Thanks.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. I must have another go with Paul McKenna, I just found he gave me the best night's sleep
Don't you find the first bit where you have to count backwards really hard? I get to about 295 and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
So I don't know if the message is getting in or not?Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
I've never fell asleep when it's on but I'm one of those people who take ages to doze off anyway. I'm usually just dozing off when he finishes and the next song on my MP3 player comes on and wakes me up2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
