  • Merry Christmas, everyone. Having a lovely day with lots of nice simple presents. Best of all my cousin's daughter (like a niece to me) has just announced that she is expecting her first baby in June. A great end to a very difficult year.

I hope you all have a wonderful time.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

    Hi everyone.

Hope you had a lovely day yesterday I ended up having xmas dinner at friends house, I was only dropping off a pressie. Got my beef dinner leftovers from xmas eve today.

Went shopping this am, no teabags and bought friend flowers for having me yesterday.

Really gone cold today, just planted some bulbs in the garden I forgot to plant them, found them in the magic kitchen drawer which everything is in.

Bought myself a jumper and a tshirt from Peacocks - short of tops. Happy only spent £15 which was money left over from my bosses cash to treAt myself to a meal, had that last week.

Pleased credit cards stayed in my purse. Determined not going to be used this time year, maybe fuel. Budget so much better with cash.

Isn't it cold today Calling felt a real chill whilst out earlier. Some people were apparently queuing at 3am last night at our local NEXT sale. They must have been really cold. We nipped over after buying some essentials and I got my OH a pair of jeans for £10 instead of £22. It's his christmas present so...But I can't for the life of me think what I'd want so bad that I'd queue up at that time for.

We were talking about this today and that the quality of Next is so poor these days and they make things especially for the sale too. I don't see the attraction. I don't plan to do any sales shopping at all, there is nothing we need at all and also nothing I want.

  • Hi All...

I hope everyone is having a great Christmas...

Mine was nice and chilled... had a bit of a spend out of my present money yesterday and today... which means no more NSDs... I now have to not spend anything for the rest of the month to reach my target of 22 days...

I always find this part of December a funny time of year. Call me Humbug but I just want it all to be out the way and on to a fresh shiny New Year! I guess I shouldn't wish the days away! Anyway - see you all tomorrow x

I agree. I was refunded on two next basic cotton tops in the summer as they just went baggy immediately.
I also dislike the idea of sales shopping. Unless you know what you want.
