Afternoon!!!
Fmess - Thanks for the survey suggestion, and Bobarella - about the audio typing... Will look into both. Alas - the survey I had I was excluded from after question 3 haha. Boooo!!!
Calling - congratulations on your new addition to the family, and good luck with your M.O.T
Misstara - I hope you're move is going/has gone well and wish you every happiness in your new home too
Today was a (planned) spend day. Coffee with friends (bought for me so free!) and cashed in some Nectar Points (or tried to!!!) at a supermarket. Ran into trouble as they said 'I wasn't registered at that store?!?!' 10 minutes later I had them on the phone to Nectar and I was able to walk away with £10.00 of items for zero pence!!! Gotta love Nectar!!! I'd already looked up online what was on offer in this, and another nearby store - neither of which I usually shop in, so I could pick up some cheap stuff I had run out of. Had a bit of a spend on myself out of my allotted spending money - and still on track... 1 more week left and have £25.00+ remaining.
Resisted a haircut as it would have sent me over budget so will have to wait until next week I think. Lazy day planned for the rest of the evening⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

£4.50 spent on taxis to and from counselling appointment and crafts. I have been thinking about goals for next year (modest goals and baby steps) and trying to keep positive. Think the doctor's visit helped (articulated the problem and tests to find out more) and feeling more upbeat. Crafts was good, low attendance but one new person and she has similar problems to one of the regulars and she managed to draw the girl out a lot more. I have just finished a baby sampler and three soft blocks for babies.
Clutter clearing has had a boost as lots of bits have been used in various craft projects, took some Christmas decorations in for my local history partner (he was hoping to get some of theones from last week but then they were all taken away again, apart from the ones we used on the 5 trees). Given/ lent him the ones I would normally use on the window ledge - that isn't going to get done. Plus a bagful to be taken to their charity shop.
I am feeling quite cheerful at knocking non-essential tasks off the list - will have a 'tree' up but not doing windows or going up the ladder to hang things from the curtain rail. Simplify, simplify, simplify.
Today I am grateful for lots of laughs at craft session, for adjusting the 'to do' list to suit my current physical abilities and for being able to move more without wincing at every step.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Hi everyone
Congrats Calling and Misstara have a lovely life in your new home.
Today was going really well until I went to the doctors and on my way out in the car from the car park someone backed his car out into me as I was going past him, so this afternoon I seem to have been on the phone constantly trying to sort it out. It was an elderly gentleman who was upset but didn't seem to have a clue what to do so I had to get all his information off him, give him mine and make sure he understands to phone his insurance, he was more concerned with the small scratch on his car than the dent he put in mine, but luckily for me I had a witness who gave me his phone number and spoke to my insurance when they phoned him. I do feel sorry for the gentleman - he was 87years and hope he got home ok. Anyway tomorrow my car goes in the garage and I get a hire car and hopefully I'll get it back in a couple of days. To make it worse (for me) I only bought it in th summer so it's not very old!!!!
Anyway been a spend day but Xmas is nearly all done, just to need the fresh stuff next week, oh and my dd rang yesterday and they are coming to stay with me all over the holidays, they live abroad so it will be nice but I've had to change my plans and spend a lot more money as there's three if them so that's all my Xmas money just about gone, just when I thought I'd save quite a lot of it.

Morning all,
Woke up before my alarm, which is very unusual at this time of year! Only four more teaching days, thank goodness. The students are getting crazier and thevstaff are getting more tired, not a good combination.
Yesterday was SFD number 6 and today should be number 7Everything else is plodding along nicely. The renovations are completely finished now

Morning everyone,
I've got a sick 5 month old so haven't had a chance to get much done lately or post here. On Sat, Sun, Mon and Wed I spent money, Tue however was a NSD, my third of the month. I've bagged up some of the little man's clothes that no longer fit and a charity shop is coming round to collect them later on today. I'm not planning on going anywhere so hopefully I'll manage my second NSD of the week.VSPC 2019 #10 - £168.80/£100 VSPC 2020 #4 - £262.03/£200 VSPC 2021 #9 - £242.88/£200 VSPC 2022 #3 - £188.03/£200 VSPC 2023 #7 - £0/£2000
