Grrrr wishus you have more patience than me, I'd have hit the roof!
SFD today so that's 4, oh dear that's not manyWill have three more until work do on Friday. Nothing much here except working although I have been given/lent a tablet from school for doing admin tasks on. Never had anything posh/swish at school before so really chuffed! If they give us a free dinner before a parents' evening, I am delighted! :rotfl:

Mornin' all:wave:
Early post today as I'm currently on train from DD's to London then straight into work.
Breakfast /drinks are included in my train fare and DD has made me a sandwich for lunch so I am finally going to rack up a NSD if nothing unforeseen happens! Nearly halfway through the month and only two days knocked up so far!:(
Yesterday I bought lunch for DD when we resumed shopping trip which was a much more pleasant experience than the bun fight on Saturday! We had lunch in a tiny pub which reminded me of the one in the film "An American Werewolf in London". You know, the pub called "The Slaughtered Lamb!" We stayed on the road though (an "in joke!").
Apart from that had my eyebrows tinted and threaded!

Not checked in for a while as I hang my head in shame. Only managed 1 NSD over the weekend.
Promise to do better this weekend.0 -
Epic fail on NSD's - 1 so far. But I've been feeling cr*p so I'm not going to stress too much. It means my 'FAT' food budget is blown, but all others are WAY under. Last Christmas present organised today.
To offset, I managed to list 4 items on our local buy/sell page today. 1 has already sold. I also posted my old phone so looking forward to some money in the bank before Christmas. If I manage to sell the multi-gym and weight rack it will be great, I'll also have a lot more space in my study.
Right. Need to prep the red cabbage for Christmas.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Stayed awake all night sewing and watching Edith Wharton ghost stories and murder mysteries. I was just going to make a start on the third and final cube block to make it less daunting today, but then carried on.
Thought I might do the cemetery run but realised that was foolish. Had a three hour nap and set the alarm in time to get ready for my doctor's appointment. Bought 2 sandwiches reduced to 50p each and had taxis to and from the doctor's. Had to wait half an hour and was late but went straight in to see him.
I had a list (helps when appointment times are so short), fed up of the 'bug' and struggling, mentioned the fall, took a shortcut through the mood list and confirmed I was still seeing the counsellor. He was most worried about the night sweats but also thinks the 'bug' has gone on for too long so more blood to be taken. Added my reglar meds to the prespcription as with not being mobile and then the chinchillas chewing through the phone line, I never got round to ordering them.
Not sure whether to sleep first or get the sewing completed (I have a back up plan if it doesn't get done for tomorrow). There will be some finishing off to do tomorrow after crafts (the donors are doing the stuffing, even though one is blind and the other can only use one hand).
I have a list of things for taking to crafts (may need the big rucksack but will probably be taking a taxi) and will review my list of things to be done after that - must bring in the 'trees' (willow pea wigwams) to dry before decorating (DS2 brought my decorations back yesterday).
Today I am grateful for a caring doctor, for entertaining and professional drama and that my rather ad hoc sewing looks okay so far.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -

Evening!
Had a busy day at work - roll on weekend!!!
Today = NSD number 10
I always find mid-month the hardest... Pay day seemed like an age away and still an age away until the next one... That said... This month - for the first time in a long time... I'm on track. Spent half my allowance and got £50.00 + still in the kitty.
Anyone any ideas on how to make some extra? I'm don't really make things to sell... have already minimised all my belongings so nothing really to sell... I don't want overtime (just because it exhausts me and I don't want to become ill again)... Anything I can do online?
Off to bed in a moment so catch you tomorrow.⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐
