Morning all
had a lovely day yesterday. It's been a while since we've had a family day out and it really had a positive effect on lo. She was being so sweet, kind and loving in the evening and this morning so it W's definitely worth the outlay! Think I will text the in laws to see if we can borrow their resident's cards so we can go to either the cathedral or near of the museums in town.
Need to a me some wraps, hummus and hm pot noodles for lunches next week.
Write a titchy shopping. Hoping to spend sub £15. Was re inspired by the "feed yourself for £1pd" group I'm on on Fb and also this blog: http://www.thriftylesley.com/meal-plans/
Hang up load of washing
Get bags/lunches done for tomorrow
Oh going to fix our fence finally (finally not implying he's been tardy! Just it's taken a couple of weeks for the panel so we've had to put up with a broken fence)
Look into new energy supplier
Spend a bit more time organising my finances. Annoying that I let it slide for several weeks
Okay thats it i think. Thinking of everyone who is having a hard time, wishing you all a speedy resolutions to your troubles xDF as at 30/12/16

Morning all :hello: so glad you had a lovely day yesterday determined sometimes memories aind happiness are worth more than anything else. We're going to go out later have promised the smalls hot chocolate out after a walk round a local nature trail and then back to put up the tree.
Other things today:
Double check my master banking sheet, last night I made the decision to move all my smaller 'pots' to my ISA as although the rate isn't great it's better than all the others. Will open another high interest easy access, just need to get to a branch as I can't do the one I want over the phone and then I'll wack the max in there I can
Get ready for Monday, packed lunches etc
Flylady bathroom
Empty bins
It some more
Did letters to santa this morning
Meals from stores, possibly see if I can rustle up a roast from freezer
Double check meal plan for week and see if we need anything, possibly just some fruit for snacks
Hope everyone is ok. Enjoy your day. PF.0 -

Morning everyone
Sounds like a lovely day DNMS.
PF - You've put me in the mood for hot chocolate!
I reconciled YNAB yesterday. Sooooo happy OH is working full time again. It's tough with us both working 45hr weeks and 2 jobs but it will help us get back on track. Hopefully he'll find something else when this contract ends, but not trying to worry about too far in the future just yet...
I have got zero motivation to buy Christmas presents this year. I've not even got that many to buy for. Sisters have said to only buy for the kids so it's 3 kids (11, 9 and 2), 4 parents and 1 grandparent. Still haven't decided what to do for our niece because I can't handle the conversation - I was thinking about a toy post office... Don't know if I need to clear that with SIL though!!! What a stress... Might just go Maverick and buy it!
Don't really have much of a list today... Getting through the housework. Definitely need to sort the kitchen and dining room as we're going to put the tree up in the dining room later. We're not here at Christmas and then away until 7th January so want to make the most of it! Will see what Christmas cards we have stashed away with the decs too - hoping I don't need to buy new ones...
Will take the dog a walk later while OH is working so it's just one trip out IYSWIM - can drop him off en route or get out where he is parking...
Right, best get off....
Happy Sunday everyone!

Ha I've just made 3p wraps, probably 20p batch of hummus (chickpeas were free) which I will have for lunches for next week with roasted cheap peppers and hg squash. So probably less than a £1 for a weeks worth of lunches :money:DF as at 30/12/16

Delete 50 emails as got 1830 in inbox at the moment
Get fuel in the car to save time tomorrow

I think that is enough to get done today and hopefully get back into the right ways. Hope everyone has a good Sunday x0 -
Hi everyone
Congratulations on the safe arrival of your little man Katy - I hope that you're both doing ok. I wasn't very well after dd was born - becoming a parent was such a massive shock to me and I was terrified I wouldn't be able to do it, and there's so much conflicting advice from every single angle. Make sure you keep your midwife and hv up to date because you need to make sure that you're ok...
It's been another busy week here, and dd and I are having a girlie weekend this weekend as the boys have gone down south to watch football. DD has discovered the 'joy' of shopping and asked me to trail round town with her yesterday, which I agreed to. She's a great kid though - just window shopping. :T I wish that I'd had her attitude at her age - she thinks really carefully before spending any money about whether she needs what she's getting etc. I'm amazed.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Have written shopping list for the next 2 weeks sub £25
let's see if I can stick to it! Would need top up of veg/fruit 2nd week. If I can this will give us an extra £30 for food over Christmas, which I think would cover Christmas
