Pleased today that my DH has negotiated our subs to Sky and BT back down saving £30 per month. It's so annoying that they automatically renew and increase!
    - I've done 3 market research assignments over the last couple of days. Will try and squeeze in another tonight, which will bag me £20.
    - FPL and total cash back comps
    - reving up to a big MS splurge tomorrow as I do t work a Friday. I'll share my list in the morning.
    Bye for now, LP x

    Afternoon all,

    Todays small things
    * Kids had free breakfast at school :)
    * Gym class to make the most of my membership, it works out to be an average of 80p a class! so not bad at all :) (£15.99/month and I go Mon-Fri)
    * Cleaned kitchen using stardrops - can't believe how much money I used to spend on kitchen cleaning before joining this thread! :)
    * All meals from stores :)
    * No heating on until the kids are home later :)
    * Checked banking, closed off Novembers spreadsheet, started Decembers one :)
    * Someone came out to measure up for our new carpets for the hall/landing and master bedroom, we will go into store at the weekend and look to see if we can find something we like within our budget. :)
    * Hoovered round the area's that needed it :)
    * Checked lucky/numbeplate ^& fpl :)

    Still need to
    * Do some ironing (need to iron at least a shirt today ready for dh tomorrow) :)
    * Prep tonights meal :)
    * Hope & pray that my eldest decides against staying for an after school club today as I don't fancy hanging around in the cold tonight :(

    Have a good day all

    Evening all :)
    For me today:
2 big bags of veg from the market in the next town (we were going anyway :))
Haircut (not MS, but done now till after the New Year :))
    Paid window cleaner (ditto)
    Posted 5 ebay sales
Used one of the endless charity bags that come throught the letterbox (despite my polite sign requesting no junk mail, sales etc :() as a bin bag. I prefer to donate directly to charities I know - it isn't as if there aren't enough charity shops! Sadly, some of these doorstep collections round here are reported to have links to organised crime in the nearest big city  so I avoid!
Made game sausage rolls, from a recipe that I saw on facebook - yum, and easy :)
Making Hugh Fearnley -Wotsit's gamekeepers pie from the rest of the mince OH did yesterday, topping it with potato and parsnip mash, currently cooking :) Used up some bits from the fridge and freezer :)
Bought a couple of preposterous jewelled and sequinned evening bags from a fellow dealer where I have my sales unit, to put with GDs' aged 6 and 8 Christmas parcels. Very little money, but they will love them :rotfl: Need to find one for littlest now, with fewer bits to potentially pick off etc (she is only 3) as she will want to be 'one of the girls' on Boxing Day when we all meet up :rotfl:

OK, better get the topping on this pie!

Hi guys, just a quick check in from me! My little man was born last Friday by emergency C-section after the planned induction did not go to plan! It was all very scary at the time but it was for the best and we are both healthy at the end of it! I have been suffering a bit with feeling down though so I'm trying everything to pick myself up a bit which is somewhat easier said than done!

I'll be back as soon as I can though, I'm still in my money saving ways! :)

    Take care all x

Congratulations to you and your OH, so glad your baby has arrived safely. I'm sorry you are down though. Keep an eye on that feeling. Your health visitor will be interested to know you feel like that. That's what they are there for to make sure you are ok as well as the little one. Hugs to you!

    Evening all,

Another few "small things" from me tonight
    * Reserved the next 3 books in the series my eldest is reading from the library, I can't believe I used to spend so much money on books, I love our library! :)
    * Had a call back from taiktaik after using the Resolver tool on here to complain, I'm still not happy with the service I've received from them last month but at least they've rolled back the contract so I can leave penalty free if I chose too. I've not closed my case file on resolver so may escalate.... will ponder on that one overnight.
    * Hubby & I talked about the new carpet plan but have maybe talked ourselves out of doing it, we have an amount budgeted for doing this and I've disliked the carpet for more then 10 yrs BUT I don't think spending £500+ on this is what I want to do...hmmmm Might see how much to get it professionally cleaned instead,,, another thing to ponder overnight!
    * Ordered a dvd from the rainforest people (after checking it wasn't available on netfl1x or amaz0nPrime) but bought a used one rather then new, which was £1.26, selected NoRush so will get a £1 credit too :)
