Back from Boots and have lost 1lb I posted late last week for the chart so thats 2lb lost over the last 2 weeks making 154lb lost or otherwise known as 11stone :j
...... nice work, fella. Good stuff.
Misty, at least you know what the problem is so you are most of the way there. Now you just have to decide whether you want short term enjoyment or long term enjoyment. Only you can decide, and you are not allowed to change your answer after you have eaten it.0 -
Lost the 2lb I put on last week! :j0

Just hit the thanks button........[/quote]
D'oh! Silly me: I'd always wondered what they sold in the there every time I walked past
Bouncy bouncy bails. You go girl :T My OH calls it tigger mode when I'm like that. Hope you throw of the cold soon. What is the eating plan you are following? Sounds an excellent and do able target of 1llb a week for 25 weeks.
I'd love to lose another 7lbs by Xmas (12 weeks).
Got a wedding and buffet on Friday. Do you think the happy couple would mind the munch of bananas going on in the background between the words 'I' and 'do'? Got to fill up to avoid the dreaded sausage rolls...
Well done Suggs. 11 stone: can't quite grasp that as that isn't far off a whole 'me'. You have done your health soooo many favours by shifting that weight :T :T . Any plans to start maintaining soon?:rotfl:queenieviolet.
Well done skintcatt, ajax, pokey. You all did better than my maintain. I hope I can up the exercise quota this week. This afternoon I could go into town for an outfit for the wedding (stress) (which might not fit me for too long)or wear something I've already got ,but will soon (:D ) shrink out of, and go for a walk. MMMmmmm.
bbI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Hi lovely Peeps
First of allWelcome Queenieviolet I'm pleased that you've already started your slimming.:j Are you following any particular plan or just eating carefully? Anyway, whatever it is, keep it up and stay with us. Christmas is a great target for keeping motivated...
...Well done pokey:j , ajaz:j , skinty:j and Suggs:j on your losses. Anymore losses Suggs and we'll be calling you snake hips;) , by the way, can we see an updated slideshow to include one of you in your new suit:o ...
...Sorry to read of your gain mistywoo but well done you for taking it on the chin and only blaming yourself :T hopefully next week will bring better news... and Lois it seems quite common for people to gain after staring to exercise, but I'm certain that next week you'll reap the benefit  Last week as MrP was working away early, I had loads more exercise because I had to walk everywhere, but this week I didn't have a loss, so perhaps next week...
...How is everyone doing with the step counting? I worked my daily average for the last 2 weeks and was just going to put them here, but I can't find the flipping piece of paper that I wrote them onso I'll redo them and post them later. I shall be interested to see how they compare with some of you...
...Hope you get better soon Bails
...Thanks for the welcomes back :A ,actually I hadn't gone anywhere, but thanks anyway; last week MrP was working away early, so I got up early too as I can't sleep once I've woken up, and to help pass the time until DD got up, I surfed the net and posted my findings here, that's why you had to suffer the long drawn out blurbs :rotfl:. Anyway, he's back to normal this week so we don't get up until 7.45, and I have to make sure my mother is okay so, usually it gets to about lunchtime before I can get here...Oops! rattling away again :silenced:

Hi belle
Unless it's a close family member, personally I'd go for the walk and wear something that you already have, for the wedding. For the simple reason that you will soon be at your goal, and that's when a new outfit will really a reward for all your hardwork. Be prepared for all the lovely comments that you're bound to get from folk you haven't seen for a while :j ...

Thanks petrichor. I think you are right. (I don't enjoy clothes shopping at the best of times anyway). It isn't a family member but a lovely friend of mine I don't see that often. Apart form her partner, I won't know anyone else and it is a strange mix of the wedding at the Pavillion(posh) (you know, the indian style place of the Prince Regent) and the 'do' after in a bar by the pier. But I'm not exactly going to be the centre of attention as there will be two brides at this wedding.
I was lying in bed last night wondering where your 'name' came from. Got to the point of imaging it was the putting together the first names of yourself,DH and DD: Petunia + Richard + Oriana!
