In the last few weeks I have eaten lots of hotel and motor services food. My father passed away at the weekend so maybe by next week I will be back on the healthy diet.
So sorry to hear about your dad
Sounds like Xenical your doctor is talking about. I tried it, and it never made a bit of difference. My doctor reckoned cos my diet is so low fat that there wasnt enough fat for it to work with.
It was a real disapointment, Id heard such positive things about it.
Me being me tried everything to test it lol Would have my weekly Chinese and take one and still nothing0 -

Hello all - am on day 2 of my diet. How do I join? Am hoping writing down weight loss/gain will help me keep in control!! I'm going on holiday xmas week which gives me 11 weeks to drop a dress size or two. Aiming to loose a stone (current weight 12 stone 10) and feeling positive :rotfl:1% challenge - £4018 - reduce by 100 payments of £41.0

.......you already joined the thread, welcome aboard
The next 5lb monthly challenge starts tomorrow so timing is good there. If you want to be added to it, let the thread know by hollering. Hopefully efrieze or delly will see it - they're the chart compilers, and I forget who's doing it this week.
On that subject efrieze/delly, can you put me down for a 1 lb loss this week please? That's only 4 lbs in the month but for a birthday month and swapping plans I'll settle for that. At least the loss for the week shows (hopefully) that I've settled after moving from WW to SW.0 -
efrieze / delly a maintain for me I'm afraid.
Felt really "heavy" so not a surprise, hoping I am one of those people who say they seem to have a cycle over a few weeks that goes back to a loss next week as I have done nothing different from last week eating wise. Here's hoping...Looking for the sunshine after the rain

hi all
3lb loss for me this week (although its really 9 days loss cause i have moved my weigh in day to this morning)
Am so pleased with it cause my OH decided to go on an all day in the pub session on saturday with some friends and we went out for lunch and then dinner and there was a good deal of alcohol consumed!! Made up for it on sunday where i went for a massive walk to get rid of the hangover (normally i would just lie on the couch and eat!)
Hope everyone is well x0 -
Morning everyone, and welcome back Petrichor!:hello:
Well done to everyone who's lost this week, there have been some amazing results and well done to everyone who's maintained or put on too, it takes 'men's wobbly bits' to stay on track when that happens but being on here will definitely help!
I've been looking at some of your sigs to catch up on things and I can't get over how much people have lost!! Do we know how much total weight has been lost by the group? It must be fantastic to see yourself gettting close to your target, and it's all down to how determined to get there you've been so a big CONGRATULATIONS to you all!:T:beer:
I'm only on Day 2 so v early days but I managed to get to Sainsburys yesterday and stock up on loads of healthy stuff. It was great going down to the kitchen this morning and seeing so much fruit and veg to choose from - travelling certainly makes you appreciate the variety we can get here. My boyfriend has been dreaming of humous for the past month, lol!
I made a menu plan as well but at the moment I'm not well enough to be cooking. It's okay though because I still have a couple of things in the freezer I made before we went away and I have some back-up options that, although they don't fit entirely into the plan I'm following, are still healthy and better than fish and chips!
We had a lovely stir fry last night, just loads of spinach with peppers, mushrooms and bean sprouts but it was yummy; even the simple things are a real treat after being away, and being able to CHOOSE is the best thing!
So I'm a happy bunny despite being poorly and am looking forward to the day. Grapefruit and nuts for brekky, can't wait! Have a great day allx
