I'm a definite convert to aqua aerobics, I know I'm working hard but am not dripping with sweat and have no aching joints from impact.
I also have a mini trampoline which i use for just 3 mins a day at the moment.
JM I know exactly what you mean about RC and exercise I get positivey annoyed if i feel i'm likely to miss a class because I know I'll have to make a rea exercise effort in some other way.
Have to agree with julesgr on aqua fit as its called up here & I also have a mini trampoline which I try to use sometimes for a very short period at a time. Also go a GP referral thingy at gym ~ 5 mins on bike, leg press(as I need help for my quads)5 mins on treadmill and so on.
I hope to have a trike soon so that will help:DI am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Hi Guys
Another 1lb weight loss this week, so 9.5lb off and now back to the top end of healthy BMI range. I am so pleased. It's great and definitely not having to pay has been a fantastic bonus with WW. Need to lose 4.5lb to get me back to goal weight.
Re: exercise. I quite like Rosemary Conley dvd- used to go to class but difficult with having little ones. Also Billy Banks Tae- Bo dvd but that is very energetic. I love walking and the last few weeks have been running with the pushchair just to get me to use up a few more calories. Also find running up and down stairs is great although need to make sure there is nothing abondoned on stairs to fall on.
Anyway good luck this week all.

I do not allow myself much deviation at all from 'my plan' but then when I have got to goal in the past, i just 'let go' and then gain and gain again. I know it is not the best way to do it long term, but it works for me and I intend to try to change the maintaining thing when I get there!
Efrieze :j :j I could have written that myself! How do you think you (and in a year or so when I'm at goal me too) will change 'the maintaining thing'? In the recent past it has actually stopped me even trying to lose weight as I've been so despondent about the prospect of putting it all back on again afterwards.
I'm so pleased to have found this thread as I think it might just make the difference with that really difficult stage ..... when I get there!
I feel a bit of a fraud talking about what I will do when I get to goal (cos I not there yet) but I do have an intention. Wheras in the past, I 'came off the diet' and that was that, this thread has taught me that I have to adjust my eating longer term that just whilst trying to lose weight.
As a purist, I almost never touch any food which I consider to be 'off-diet', so my plan is going to be to slowly integrated these foods back into my daily meals. In addition, I am going to try to be aware of 'pulling back' if I have indulged. Some people say that they do not restrict their weekend eating (within reason) but are good Monday-Friday. I think that sounds possible. Or maybe try to stick to healthy breakfast and lunches and then relax in the evenings (not totally!!!). For me, the fact that I have a plan post reaching my target is better than I have ever had before. I have always said 'I can't maintain so there is no point trying'. And one other thing, I never weight myself when I am not on a diet. Perhaps when i reach goal, I will make myself (or instruct my DH to force me to) get weighed weekly so at least you can acknowledge any gains and deal with them rather than bury your head in the [STRIKE]fridge[/STRIKE] sand.
I do feel weird talking about what I will do cos I am not there yet, but good to plan ahead.
Now I just need to set a realistic target that i find agreeable and that will not make my friends and family think I am going too far (they always think that). I find it frustrating when people say 'that's enogh now' when you know how far you want to go and what you want to look good in etc. Mini-moan over!0 -
Well done justmarried :j and jenpoptab :jwell done too, especially for reaching the healthy BMI :T I hope that you're feeling the benefit of your hard work, do you find it easier to do your exercises now?...

There's no need to starve yourself;) , and what would you do to take your mind off fasting, oh of course  it's a monastery;) hands tucked inside your robes and all that...
...efrieze I think that half of the battle whilst losing weight, is to get into the right frame of mind to deal with maintaing your loss when you get there. We've all made the mistake in the past of getting to target, then thinking that's it! and then going back to our old, bad ways. I didn't deviate from my strategy and it paid off, it also enforced some new and better habits. You have amazing will power, keep at it, and focus on that plan. I hope that you can find a realistic target weight...

Your exercise regime is almost exactly the same as mine only we don't have any pools near us for aqua fit. My last hydrotherapy session is next week and I then have to go back on the waiting list to give other people the chance to use it. At the GP referral I do 2 mins on the bike, 2 x 5 on the treadmill walking and at home about 2 mins on my mini trampoline. Its not a lot but for me it is making a difference and keeping me mobile.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

The MiL is drving me to distraction, after trying v hard not to I have now fallen out with OH about it (playing right into her hands of course) and I can feel myself starting to get ill again from all the stress. Gutted. Things have been v difficult since we got back from India; it can't go on much longer, can it?
On a positive note, I've managed to keep some focus on my back to work plan and have hand delievered two letters - one to an EBD school round the corner and the other to Head of English at another school which is only a few minutes drive from my house. Hopefully, I'll get some good news soon...
Sorry for moaning on, I don't know anyone where I live (my best mate just went travelling for 6 months leaving me on my tod), I will try to cheer up before I next log on.
Well done to all those reporting losses today, congratulations. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
