Try getting a job in the US. Legally that is.0 -
Big day tomorrow

I have a busy day tomorrow so will not be watching.
Looking forward to the various guesses and speculations by the talking heads in the media over the next few days. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Good point.
I also think that whilst we prioritise our own needs we also need to consider our moral obligations to other countries. For example taking all the fit young men from Romanin villages and removing all the nurses from poor parts of Thailand is not good.
Same as those from north of Watford who come to London only selfishly thinking to better their own lives but leaving their home regions to stagnate.0 -
I don't see the need for all this legal wrangling.
The government could put the issue to parliament and give all MPs a free vote on invoking A50.
Whenever you hear Labour MPs talk about this, they often say they would abstain anyway.
If voters do not like how their MP voted we can get rid of them at the ballot box in the next GE.0 -

That's the whole point. TM wants to initiate A50 without consulting parliament. The courts have told her that it's unconstitutional but she's asked them to have another look just in case they've got it wrong and she does have the power. In my eyes it makes her look rather weak.
One way or another we will leave the EU but there's no point in trying to circumvent the democracy that we are all so keen on to do it.0 -

it is a reasonable argument if you support unlimited immigration and ignore the inter regionals transfers that support the regions, ignore cultural, history and kinship issues and are a reducion ad absurbum sort of person0 -
An interesting day in court. Looking forward to even more information tomorrow.
Legal arguments are such fun. There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -

Or fits your viewpoint. There's an inherent danger that it's going to dissolve into a complete mess. If Parliament were to contradict the will of the people. Uncertainty could cause huge damage to the £.0 -

I believe that there's virtually zero chance of the UK remaining in the EU. The fact that our PM is attempting not to properly use the correct procedure makes me feel that she has concerns that her fellow MPs will pass the necessary motions to allow it to happen.0 -
