She's probably right to have those concerns.

Won't the SNP abstain en masse?

Italian Govt Minister today said the EU is collapsing.
The EU will fail just as did that other gaggle of disparate nations, the USSR.

Paul Mason talks about a wider concern over Western democracies in the Guardian.

The EU was constructed and developed during an era when the USSR was a major influence.

There is no guarantee that it is fit for a world where leaders like Putin; Trump; Erdogan; Orban exercise increasingly isolated stances on key issues.

Far too much focus on the legal, far too little focus on what the take home message was in the public mind on June 23rd.

The take home message was that the people would decide, there was no reference to a sub clause or small print.

The people will rise up as never before if the arrogant, authoritarian liberal establishment dares us. Liberal politics is extreme, it demanded we accept mass immigration without consent, it refused to engaged with the public mood, preferring instead to deride it.

    Whether we leave or remain.

We're leaving, but like others can still trade freely with the SM, but I stress again we'd be fine with WTO - given the other measures we will put in place such as freeports

If it weren't for the narrow minded terrified remoaners, we'd be well under way

Ah, we've done that though, we're leaving.

Are the people to chose how we leave? Or are their representatives? Or are we just to let May get on with it?

If by narrow minded terrified remoaners, you mean the law? then I guess I agree.

As meaningless as 'Brexit means Brexit'.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.
