Just wanted to pop on and say thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday!
had a lovely albeit quiet day.. and was most happy with my gifts which included bright pink digital kitchen scales id wanted for a while! So no excuse not to do loads of OS baking now!!!! Everything should turn out better now i have acurate scales! hehe
Got really emotional when i arrived at scouts aswell and 3 of my scouts (all girls) each came up to me with individual cards they'd bought me (expensive official disney ones too - they really shouldnt have!!)... one got a bit embarrassed when she realised she'd added a year  writing "23 today!" in big letters in the card but i told her not to worry it was the thought that counted and it just meant i could put it out next year too and feel popular for having an extra card! hehe
Will try and get back on OS track soon but its so hard at the min as im exhausted! This baby is taking it out me for sure! Never felt so tired. Off to pop my feet up though infront of ricki lake and have a thorntons choc or twoThe OSing is going to have to wait another day or two.....
*hugs*

Happy Birthday to Master Catowen
Hugs to anyone else who needs them today
Having a busy day today so only just got online - shocker! Been shopping with sis, treated myself to new jeans (£15 TK Maxx) and a couple of new tops (£6 each, New Look) with my PIN money saved from the food shopping budget etc so feeling pleased with myself. Just picked DD up from school and waiting for my gran and aunty to come round, then going up to my other grans at 5.30 before taking DD to dancing at 6.15pm the back home to help my sis colour her hair. Am knackered just thinking about it! Its cold and rainy here which is playing havoc with my jointsso will be something easy for tea that doesn't involve peeling or chopping.
Just browsing on ebay now to look for some thermal vests to keep my poor old joints warm in the winter - oooh the glamour!
Hope everyone is having a good day
Take care

Afternoon all...........((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) if you need one.
I went back to bed just after 4am, I woke up just after 9.00am. We had a quick trip to the library to put in some books, collected the jigsaw for my shelf project and also rawlpugs and mirror hangers from Wilkos.
We had another letter from the council saying thay are going to take back £9 a week from our HB to pay back the overpayment....£36 a month I don't think so, that would tip us over the edge, so OH phoned our councillor who has just been and spent an hour with us and a productive one it was too....she has gone off with a ream of stuff.......we will wait and see what happens now................was just cooking the liver and bacon for supper when said councillor arrived, she said she would stay for supper!!!!! the smell was making her hungry..........mind you she had a shocking cold, she was coughing fit to bust, if thats what going to Greece does to you, I'll say at home, thank you..............
We had rain overnight...........but its nice and sunny now, boy was it cold in the night though........I had my dresssing gown on and was still freezing.....it took me ages to get warm again.
I have not heard from my computer chappie, had hoped I might get a call today, I do want my little laptop back again............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hi guys
Had the interview and all went well but have decieded not to take the job. He wasn't an old retired widower , he was young , with kids and Mr Frog would be very unhappy at the thought of me "playing house" with someone else. Feel a bit guilty as I wanted to sort their Lillypad out , but not if it makes Mr Frog insecure ( though Christ knows what he's got to worry about, as if anyone would be interested in this!)
Anyway no other news. Mr Frog has done his last night delivering for the bakery so no more free bread , boo hoo. It was only a temp possition for an agency and he has just got a permanant job starting tomorrow:T .
Have a good evening all , and well done to all who are still loosing weight ~ I'm v proud of you allxxxxx:TSay it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hello. Does anyone mind if I join in?
I've been lurking for ages and feel like I know you all already.
I've been very good today and am sticking to my diet but that means I haven't done much cooking as if I did I'd eat it all. LOL!!!
But I've done a wee bit of sewing that's been building up and boiled up last night's chicken bones for stock so that's quite OS isn't it??
I hope you have all had a good day.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck. Find joy in the simple things, show your love for those around you and be grateful for all that you have.0 -
