Morning everyone, hope its a good day for all. Hugs to PP.

I'll be off to work in about half an hour, its my second-last day. Just going to grit my teeth and get through it. To be honest, this job has gone down to being one of my least liked. Whilst I still love kids and nannying, the ones I'm looking after at the moment are being real pains. But, only 21 more hours to get through with them.

I plan on doing some therapeutic card-making tonight for Christmas. May even have a go at making some bookmarks as well.

Take care everyone and I'll pop in this evening.

    Goodmorning everyone,

Well the wind has just sprung up here the last hour and it's blowing a gale. I hope the tomato bushes are holding up. Been in those down in the dumps mood today and everything has been a bit of an effort. Made Benny some more dog food after lunch. YS called this morning and we had a lovely chat. I'm having zucchinni quiche for tea tonight. Fresh from the garden of course. :D

    Master Catowen Happy Birthday. :bdaycake:
MrsMacawber Glad your sister came though and hopefully the tests will come back ok. Wow what a weight. Did she have a big tummy?

Morning allNot been around for quite a while so I thought I would pop back so I can get back on track with spending etc...I would have been back sooner but I forgot my password.I hope everyone is well??
  • Good morning everyone! I spent all day baking yesterday, and went to bed really tired. I've woken up raring to go, but it's raining, so don't think I'll go running. Might have a go with some weights, while I have some loud music on :j :j :j

The fruit loaf is delicious (I took the crust for myself while making DH's breakfast :p;) ). I'll have a proper slice later with a cup of coffee. DD made some coconut macaroons. She's covered the base with chocolate, and they're like Bounty, only nicer :D

I have bathrooms, floors, and oven to clean today. It's choir tonight, which will be dreadful as we have a concert on Saturday. I go to the pub with friends afterwards, so will enjoy that.

Happy birthday Master Owen :bdaycake: and Skystar

Welcome back ageandjo - was only wondering about you and your dogs last week :T

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Happy Birthday Master Catowen

Another day at work today - not in the mood tbh - but it keeps the wolves from the door

Need to clean the house tonight - DD is having a High School Musical 2 party tomorrow night, lots of 8/9 year olds running around:rotfl:

Tea tonight is chilli and pasta bake.

Well I'd better get dressed and make packed lunches

    (((((hugs))))) all round
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)
  • Morning All!
    :bdaycake: To Master Catowen!
    ((((((((((HUGS)))))))) to PP.
Hope everyone's having a good day. Dull and damp here today. Gonna clean the house, it's a tip! DS is up for College (he really seems to love it, thank goodness!)
OH should be arriving this afternoon, aas he had to rush off last weekend, so that'll be nice!

If anyone's at a loss this weekend, we are having the "Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival" here. Come on down and join us!

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all

Happy birthday Master Catowen - Hope you all have a great day.

Ageandjo - great to see you back - was wondering where you'd got to.

Heavenleigh - not read yesterdays thread but assume it was good news :j

PP - Chin up and hope you feel better soon :grouphug:

Grey and windy here this morning although it's supposed to be a bit warmer than yesterday (which won't be difficult).

Nothing much planned for today - need to do a bit of ironing and whizz round with the hoover.

Last nights soup was delish, made a cheesy/buttery tear and share bread to go with it - real proper comfort food.

I'd better crack on and get DD2 a little more enthusiastic for school - these dark mornings don't agree with her (or me)

    Have a good one all.

    Ageandjo.... Welcome back:T

Aussie lass - yep, sis had been dieting and lost loads of weight, she looked gaunt in the face...but looked like she had a huge ball under her top- it was only when she got back of holiday, where someone tried to give up their seat as they thought she was due to give birth..and then went to ge on the plane -where the air hostess asked how far gone she was - that she thought to go to Hospital.... it appears she has been aware of it since before February  -and talking to BIL it could go back as far back as 5years:eek: still she got through the op ok...so thats good news so far :D

    Anyone i have missed - sorry...sending hugs:D

Today should be a lazy day..but i feel another "scrub fest" coming on...seem to have a terrible compulsion to cook n clean:rolleyes: .... so i think i may be off into the spare room today:eek: ..to have a final sort through, so hubby can get some of the spare gubbins into the loft this weekend.... need to be brutal with some stuff ;) -which is easier said than done.... well i had better get off and make a cuppa, catch up on the gossip and then get my lazy bum upstairs :D

    Have a great day everyone....
