Evening all. I have managed half an hour of ironing today *proud*

In addition to that, I've had a two-hour site meeting with our builders, emailed about 50,000 people, arranged delivery of several whacking great timber sole plates, overseen construction of a raised base for the chicken shed, requested quotes for a huge garden wall, worked out why I've got water on the [STRIKE]floor[/STRIKE] clay in the utility room (drainage pipe accidentally knocked out of alignment by the boys on site), queried prices on materials (correction made in my favour) fed and bathed boys, sorted cats, dogs, chickens and fish, took out recycling, rescheduled caravan delivery and connection, rearranged sofa bed delivery as they can't do the original date, had a bath and now....

enjoying a well-deserved glass of Merlot

ATB - sorry to hear your invoice and VAT problems are still festering :(

Chest-be-well wishes to Mr LW and Yorkshirechap and hugs to all with poorly rellies. My first husband's aunty died suddenly yesterday, so feeling a bit sad today. I want to go to the funeral to represent hubby no:1 but the current Mr Dizzy is being funny about it...hmmm...

Oh dizzy xxx I feel dizzy just reading your updates :o hope you resolve the funeral question xxx

Well amazingly I have done 2/3 of my homework tonight. I don't know what came over me lol maybe I need a lie down now haha. I only logged on to edit something from last week and then I was on a roll!

Usual jobs done, feeding family including 4 legged friends, having furry cuddles, having story cuddles, sorting a post-dinner kitchen and so on.

Tomorrow will be a day at home catching up with bathrooms, finances, Xmas ideas and orders, and I'd like to check what's in my freezer and start using things up! Also sweeping leaves in the back garden.

Which reminds me, I had to laugh, I was getting my shoes on for the school run and heard an enormous racket outside, went out and nice NDN was "vacuuming" my driveway of leaves with his petrol mower :rotfl: bless him! I did point out the offending tree hadn't fully shedded yet and was he free to do more vacuuming next week lol.

  • Bossy my DH has a leaf vacuum. Its amazing.

Tired this morning, didnt sleep well. Spent most of yesterday afternoon sorting various things - re-applying for DHs driving licence, filling in a form for DS, ordering heating oil, ordering thank you cards, checking the online banking and cancelling two DDs.

Dizzy you are amazing. You do know that dont you? I guess you dont get much thanks for what you do. And greenbee - thinking of you.

So today - have made cottage pie for tea. Laundry fairly up to date. Both jobs today so will be out all day. Going to do a bit of washing up then get ready for the paid stuff.

Morning all, hugs to Greenbee and Dizzy and anyone who wants one. I'm always in awe of how much you all achieve.

Today, I'm paid stuff from home waiting for WM delivery which could be any time up to 7pm tonight, so the dogs have not had a walk yet.

So far I have washed up the breakfast dishes, hoovered downstairs and sorted out our finances as it's pay day here. Looking so much better now we're debt free without the blasted car loan.

Have also ordered another Christmas pressie on line.

Right, 30mins before paid stuff proper, so I'll have a quick look at the list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Ooh, looks like I'm going to start on the Christmas cards then!

  • Morning all,

Off list today, as we need to be moved into the downstairs rooms by Christmas, so that is my focus.

    Plan:

Am - daily stuff, 30 mins leaf sweeping, 30 mins ironing, put wm on clean cycle as it smells funny.

    Early lunch

    Riding lesson

PM - wood waxing and ceiling painting downstairs.

Fit in a dog walk somewhere

    Greenbee, hugs to you xx

    Morning!

I've been to collect a parcel then vacced and dusted all downstairs except the den. Also scrubbed the fireplace and set the DW going.

    Just having a cuppa now.

I'm planning a hh sweeping later too, and will shake out the GP cage liner. Need to call my dad about the Santa train as its not even running on the day we agreed :o

    Freezer tidy too! Soon!

Not been posting much this week, as Flying is minimal (Cassie takes up a lot of my time and energy, but she's worth it, bless her). Mr LW is currently wafting the sheep-onna-stick round the tops of all the walls, as I still can't stretch upwards to do it myself.

But I did just want to offer a (((HUG))) to YL; let's hope both our men have nothing major wrong with their chests, eh? :o

Oh yes, I did Dys0n up a whole cylinder of Cassie-hair yesterday, had to do it as we had Mr LW's pal round last night, for his "dog fix". :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hope everyone is well
Just got in from work so playing catch up and s&sing as I go
    Hugs to all
It's a cold one out there so hope you are all staying warm.
