Hello everyone,
I am still here!! Have been unable to post but seems to be back to normal now!
Hugs to all in need, from reading through it seems many have worrying times going on xx
Still not finished decorating, so am pretty fed up now, but hopefully will be completed by next weekend.
Have been flying like mad all week so apart from the dreaded bedroom the rest of the house looks pretty good. Off on a girly shopping trip tomorrow, so will catch up with you all later.
See you soon xx0 -
Minimal flying done this week but lots of productive paid work done. To do list is longer than it was at the beginning of the week but at least I feel I've ticked things off.
So back home (just), TD is on with washing from yesterday, cup of tea in hand before I start cooking. Enjoy the weekend!0 -
Hola!
I only popped to @ldi for some veg and I was gone 2.5 hours  I got waylaid
But this afternoon I cleaned up some piggy mess and tidied the conservatory, washed piggy bedding. Aww, so cute, they were hiding under the ramp - it's a favourite place - but as soon as I put their clean little beds in their huts, they put themselves to bedI think they like their little mattresses!
Washed uniform, made dinner, sorted kitchen after, kids watched a movie on the f!restick, general tidying up done.
Oh, we went in the garden after school and filled the brown bin with leaves (again). It's the last collection next week so thought we'd make the most of it.
That's all really. I'm not very productive lol
Have a nice weekend everyone xxBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
I have done nearly no flying this week so I'm relieved to see others are the same! With a poorly boy, extra driving, all the school stuff, dentist trips and a crazy trip to buy a new TV today the place is a bit of a mess. Tomorrow I'll be doing upstairs and laundry as a minimum! TV isn't getting installed until we're straight.0

Yes, its been a bit of a week here too. Lots of paid stuff, minimal flying, a million and one other things to do.
Not sure what the plan is for the weekend - a little work to finish tomorrow but then I am just looking forward to some time off.0 -
Evening all
Well done to all who've flown in their house and/or garden today - some impressive flying reports there :T
DH is just putting himself to bed - he says he's "not firing on all cylinders"He's been at the NEC all day, helping to set up a big model railway show, and is supposed to be going again tomorrow, but if whatever temperature he's brewing comes out, he won't be catching the 06.15 train (about which I should not be sorry). With his full agreement, I'm going to doss down in the spare room tonight, because I don't sleep well next to a steam engine!
I have had a pretty successful day today:
- took DH to the station and bought milk, bananas and stamps on the way home
- S&S'd kitchen and bathroom
- did quite a lot more work on my essay
- took delivery of a big order from the Jungle and a small package brought by the postman
- received a nice letter from HMRC telling me that the recent Gift Aid claim for church has been paid - it was well worth the hassle, and my revised system will make it easier next time
- ordered some more presents online
- helped a friend buy some train tickets at a good price online
- unexpectedly got a sizeable discount on another ticket for said friend :j She is coming to stay with us just after Christmas, when we have tickets for the Thursday afternoon concert at Symphony Hall, and luckily the seat next to ours was still available - so we're now taking her with us to the concert on her way home
- Collected DH from the station late this afternoon
- Took him to hospital for a CT scan (no waiting: in and out in 15 minutes :T)
- On the way home went to M€rry H€11 - on Black Friday???:eek::eek: (actually it wasn't any busier than on a normal weekend) - and picked up 3 more click and collect orders
- Cooked and finally ate tea at 8.00 pm.
Not a bad day's work!
Tomorrow will bring
- WMx2
- chauffeuring DH to the station, if he's well enough
- more reading and essay writing
- meeting up with a German friend in the evening :j
Will see you all on the new thread, if not before x0 -
Sorry today's list poor, sis really ill. I probably won't be around much for a week or two.. But I know you are supporting me and really appreciate it.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Hugs to Valli we are all thinking about you.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0

Oh Valli - so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you both xxx
I didn't get online yesterday as it was so busy and the only actual flying I got done was to clean the microwave. Bad Dizzy.
Cluckingham Palace is up and is huge. My nine hens and one cockerel will be thoroughly spoilt when we move them over. Very handsome Polish chaps put it up for meI'll admit to taking out coffee once or twice...
New caravan arrived. It is also huge. The lads delivering it had to take their lorry into my paddock and cope with all the mud. they did bring a JCB digger to help drag the lorry back onto the driveway after the caravan was offloaded. Field and driveway are a mess now, but caravan is in situ. Should have power, water and drainage by the end of Wednesday, then I'm out of the house for 6-7 months, while the builders do their thing.
Got a 50th party in Sussex this evening, after a meeting with the landscaper, football training, cleaning out the chickens and packing pillows and our overnight bag. Oh and I need to scrub the boys...
Iona - hope DH is feeling OK today. Man 'flu is a truly deadly thing0 -
Hugs Valli.
Morning all. Loving hearing about hens and little piggies.
I really must achieve things today. There is the church Christmas fair to go to and:
Walk and bath dogs
Do a big shop with DH
Change bedding now I have a WM
and other things too numerous to mention.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0
