We can't have an American style fridge freezer because there's no way to get one into the kitchen. I'm plotting what else we can get in there instead because any change will be an improvement. Thanks goodness for cu**y's no quibble returns policy.

One lodger leaving today and the other tomorrow so I'll give both bedrooms and the shower room a thorough going over which means today is more focussed on getting stuff uploaded to the bay of e etc. My office, which is a permanent room of doom, is now completely unusable because I've got so much crud in there while the kitchen's shuffle is on temporary hold. I have a path to my computer and that's it, the rest of the room is covered in boxes, mostly stacked three high. So, I'll also be flitting around the ground floor and dealing with OH's wardrobe today in between listings.

Hello again. Big shop is off until tomorrow, we're going out for lunch instead.

I have been to the Christmas fair, really good and walked the dogs. Bedding is stripped, changed and washed although I've nowhere to dry it today. Breakfast dishes are washed.

And that's it so far. Not a lot really. Might write some more Christmas cards before we go out.

Hi everyone,

Sending my best wishes to you and your sister Valli.

I've fallen a bit behind as I'm out on Thursday evenings and then didn't do anything yesterday.

Hopefully I can catch up with it today. I hate that I spend my whole week working and then my whole weekend cleaning so hopefully when I get into more of a routine and do more during the week then it won't have to be like that. The washing basket is the worst! Probably another 3 or 4 loads to go. The TD is definitely going on today!

Hi all

Hope the new home is an improvement Dizzy and fingers crossed everything goes smoothly with the building work.

Valli goes without saying but we are all here for you.

So I have done 1.5 hrs paid stuff, collected DS2 from a night of partying, taken DS1 to work (didnt want him going on the moped in the fog/ice), walked the dog and made Christmas cake - which I normally do in October! We have a tradition of everyone stirring the cake mix and making a wish but DS2 is now in bed asleep and DS1 is out so DH and I did an extra stir each. Sign of the times I guess.

I need to draw up a budget for December but it could wait until tomorrow. Off to pack all my work stuff away until Monday.

Lunch out had, second dog walk (well carry for Poppet) done. Dog bath put off till tomorrow too.

Going to just chill now.

I've been flying like a good 'un today! One load of washing put on and hung on the airer, two loads if washing put away. My bed stripped and new covers put on, vacuumed everywhere upstairs, cleaned loo, bath, sink and mirror, dusted everywhere upstairs, threw out 2 carrier bags of rubbish, dusted kitchen and lounge, vacuumed lounge and I have rearranged the lounge ready for the Christmas tree! I'm not getting it out today, I just wanted to get the room ready. Off to wash up, cook tea and clean the kitchen table. Think I will install the new TV after sprout has gone to bed. I'm pooped, I even cleaned the boys windows and all the doors and switches in the house and the skirting boards in the bedrooms, bathroom and lounge!!!! Phew!
