    Morning all.

I don't think I'll get the kitchen jobs done today. Overslept and now need to get cracking on the paid stuff already.

    Have a great day everyone.

(((Hugs))) for Katiecat and ATB. Loving the Piggie Posts, Bossy! *Get well soon* vibes heading your way.

Kelpie has been swimming and is now exhausted, sleeping it off on the floor next to me, Devil Cat having kicked him out of the dogbed and I've decluttered OH to the station for a few days in London. Good. I can now get on with things. Although not tomorrow because the two lovely lodgers and I are going on a one day sourdough bread baking masterclass day which should be a lot of fun. Must crack on putting more stuff on the bay of e and gumtwig because it seems to be going rather well at the moment.

Plus a bit of dusting and vacuuming for show and a bit of washing as the forecast is dry even if it is a bit miserable and overcast.
    Better is good enough.

    Evening all

    Just updating my list:
    [STRIKE]- Strip and [/STRIKE]remake bed
    [STRIKE]- WMx2
    - S&S bathroom
    - Think about what we're going to eat today (plenty in the FF, just what do I fancy cooking, preferably in the SC?)
    - Clean kitchen
    - Tidy and dust LR and DR, ask DH to hoover and steam mop
    - Take DH to hospital for a blood test
    - On the way, take summer duvet to cleaners (I put it out of the way in the landing cupboard about 6 weeks ago when we were expecting visitors, then forgot it was there ) )
    - Work on my essay
    - 2-hour meeting with my supervisor to revise my learning agreement
    - send out the FSS details[/STRIKE] :xmassmile - if you were expecting to hear from me and haven't, please let me know [STRIKE]
    - Take DH to his signing course tonight[/STRIKE] - he has been offered a lift home :D

Just the bed to re-make then - oh, and some socks to pair up and put away, and a letter to write, and my learning agreement to update. It's never-ending, isn't it? - you get one thing done and ten more come along to be added to the list

Tomorrow morning, Friday and Saturday are reserved for essay writing. DH will be out most of Friday and Saturday at a big model railway show, so I will be able to work at my own pace.

I need to buy a small :xmastree: this year - more space is needed in our little house for the growing grandchildren when the whole family come to visit! - and DH wants a few more lights for the garden railway, so we are planning on an afternoon :coffee: at the garden centre tomorrow ;)
  • Evening everyone,

I've had quite a productive day, chopped a few more bits off the list, done all the daily stuff, swept some more lovely soggy leaves up, took the dog for a long walk, listened to readers at school, took delivery of my food shop, found my P60 (hooray) which now means I have to do the tax frog (boo).
I also now am going to look at quotes for house insurance. Yes at this time of night, but I'm trying to be strict with myself.

Iona I'm liking the little sparkly tree. I still think there must be about 36 hours in one of your days, the amount you seem to get done.

    My list got smaller :

Wonderful Wednesday - IT'S NEARLY THE WEEKEND
    BATHROOM BLISS

    level 1
Flush the loo and squirt cleaner in
Shift as much stuff out as you can
    Clean windows, mirrors and screens
Now SCRUB that loo then wipe the outside

    Level 2

    Scrub the basin

    Level 3
    Wipe anything not yet wiped
    Wipe the pull cords
    Clean the floor
Put out nice fluffy towels etc

    Extras

If you haven't got one start a SIMPLE home file KEY INFORMATION
One page per 'subject' so that anyone left in charge/suddenly having to take over can sort
so a page for each utility/bill stating provider/account number

    eg
Gas - supplier -account number - how paid (DD/card/etc) name of account holder

then, when/if you change it just write new info underneath. Don't fill in too much, just so that someone can quickly track through. DATE EACH ENTRY!

pages you might need - gas/electricity/oil/TV licence/broadband/insurance policy numbers (and what they're for) Add any pertinent to you!

Not much achieved, but I'm shattered with all the driving to and from my dad - and dealing with coming to terms with it too.
