Hi everyone
Oh the joys of being self employed...!
I've just finished a little dress I crocheted for my pal's baby. Now need to find something for a baby boy - want to do something biggish so I don't feel the need to send something else - just thinking that if I only do the baby bootees/converse I'll still need to send a voucher, which I want to avoid having to do.
OH is doing a SC stew later. We'll have yesterday's LO chicken for sandwiches during the week.
Still need to reconcile YNAB - roll on pay day on Wednesday!
Catch up soon!

Morning all,
Ziggy, hope you enjoyed the theatre last night,
My nerves wouldn't cope with being self employed!!
Today's list
 Ys bread used for toast for breakfast
 Took kids to swimming lessons and took a hot drink with me and left my money at home, so no vending machine spends
 Dh was meant to be working from home but the website is down so he's not
 Family coming over for lunch, but as I thought hubby was working I wanted something really quick and easy, so mince from the freezer, casserole veg, the last two bendy carrots from the fridge, some frozen onions, peppers and a pack of frozen red cabbage from musc1efood all into the slow cooker with a couple of tins of tomatoes and some leftover gravy. Hope its ok, will do dumplings to go with it. Also took another bag of apples out of the freezer will make into a crumble for dessert.

 Check luckyphone
 Film from stash later
 Take kids out on their bikes for a bit
 Board games later from the stash
 Sort through the spare xmas decs to see what my sis wants
 Kids homework
I'll add more as it happens
Have a good day all.

Hmm be careful re the rosemary Carrie - my OH is a country lad, but still can't tell one garden plant from another (except veg plants). We have had lavender added to things instead of rosemary, and take it from me, although lavender is nice in shortbread or ice cream, it is weird with lamb :rotfl:
Today looks like this:
Pancakes for GD for breakfast
Cooking second Xmas pudding in SC
Chicken for lunch, already in oven
2 items listed on ebay
Must sort out items for my RL shop space later - and find 2 ebay items sold yesterday. This will mean dragging the boxes back out of the attic
Hope Bob is having a better day today!0 -

Hi everyone, been AWOL recently as I've been snowed under with work then getting home shattered and going to bed at 8pm! I'm waiting to hear if I'm getting some extra hours for 3 months but hope these will start in the new year as don't think I could face an extra 10 hours on top of full time ATM. Pay day tomorrow so will post with plans for the week

PPea I am doing 35 hours at the moment split between two jobs and finding it hard going! Not looking forward to the week at all - in fact I feel pretty glum at the moment.
Have got the bread maker going, otherwise it meant calling into the shop for bread. I will need a few extra bits tomorrow. Chilli and jackets for tea tonight, will freeze the leftovers.
Going to try and enjoy whats left of the weekend.0 -
Feeling pretty glum tonight too YorkshireLass. I just feeling like quitting- it wouldn't do my bank balance much good but o don't know how long I can keep going on feeling like this.Competition wins £14,136.30[\COLOR]0
