Don't think we don't know that when you say that the hospitality was good Aussie you just mean she gave you plenty to drink. :D

Doctor has prescribed antibiotics for chest and throat infection and told me to rest.

So...........I haven't stopped all day, and have achieved loads greatly helped by the fact that I haven't been on here. ;)

2 loads of washing, washed, dried and ironed.
    kitchen and bathroom cleaned.
    Spare room bedding changed.
    beds made.
DW emptied refilled and emptied again.
    Banking done.
Fruit and veg shop at lidl done.
    Mouldy cheese returned to Co-op
Beans picked from garden and bulbs planted
Chilli oil, garlic oil and rosemary oil all made
Pork chops, bubble and squeak and green beans prepped for tea.
Fire cleaned out and relaid and logs brought in.

All that and I have friends too Nelski. :p

Today will be the opposite of the days I spend too much time on here and have to whizz round spraying pledge in the air before Oh comes home. Today I need to make it look like I've done dnothing so he won't tell me off and tell me to get my bumm back into the office. :o;) :D

Heavenleigh...I hope you're ok and Catowen...it's good to see you back.:D

Congrats on finding out it's a boy Nicola. Enjoy your bedrest and try not to fret too much.

    Afternoon All

    Welcome back Cat:
    Heavenleigh: I'm thinking of you.
Nicola1982: Hope the rest keeps the bubs inside until its finished cooking!

Back from work. The house is freezing I was determined not to put on the heating but I think I'll need to warm up the bathroom before DD has her bath tonight. We are currently sat on the couch with several layers on watching TV.

Winter is definately coming so tomorrow I'm going to do some preparation. DH gets paid so I want to buy some bits and pieces for myself and dd.

Better go the house is a right mess and I have no idea whats for tea.

Just found out we are all going out as a family for special meal to celebrate DDs uni results.

Saves me dashing round cooking and looking forward to time out as a family.

May go clothes shopping tomorrow instead.

Now all I need is some good news about the house

    Mrs McCawber

Hope things go well for your sister.

Hugs to all who feel poorly or are having a rotten day at w***k!

    Hello

Much nicer day today, been sooooo cooold since Monday and had a cold too, been all achy, but I still haven't put the heating on:(

OH is away till late tonight, so the day is mine:)

Did a load of washing to put out:) - I dread the winter and not being able to put the washing out:(

Had HM muesli for breakfast with skimmed milk
Cheese toasty for lunch, followed by peach yoghurt
Dinner tonight is Aubergine, mushroom and brocolli bake topped with parmasan cheese, followed by a banana for a snack later.

Made some sage tea from our lovely herb garden
Also found some coffee from Whittard on deal - winter chocolate with cinnamon:)
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:

    Afternoon All,

Just a quickie to say hi, haven't read the rest of the thread yet as I haven't had chance so I'll have a look in a mo. Getting really cheesed off with having to go to work , it gets right in the way of my friendships on the daily!!!!!:rotfl:

    One quick question ~
how can I make Mr Frog realise that we are skint and have to be careful with money? He's an intelligent Man , I mean Frog , and he understands the fact that we have no money and have to be very careful at the moment , but it all gets forgotten and he keeps spending money!
Ok, it's not alot , and he is a BRILLIANT husband and father. He doesn't drink , or go out with mates et.c so I know it could be worse, but he isn't as tight as I am and when I have to keep reminding him he gets really cheesed off with me and I end up sounding like his mother!!!!!
A quick example: he came home from work today with a video and some sweets for us all to sit and watch tonight. It was the best part of a tenner gone and if we only have £50 a week for food et.c now I've only got £40. Also both tadpoles want £5 for school trip so now I'm down to £30!!!!!!!! It's turned into a row and what was supposed to be a nice family evening is spoilt by my nagging. I feel like a cow not a frog.

well not very exciting here today.have made a granary loaf and banana bread is almost done. just had Mum on the phone wanting advice on how she can get the digi box to work again after moving it to clean behind it. So after 15 mins of "have you checked the scart lead?" "is everything plugged in properly?" she then says "oh the scart thing isnt in ,thats it now its working" arghhhhh! bless her she aint technical at all, last week she said she was thinking of getting a NAB SAB, took me ages to work out she meant SAT NAV.:D

    Evening all,

Feeling much better to-day, thank you all for the kind messages, really just a rebellion against the cold weather I think.

Pooky...may I have some of that soup please?

Catowen...welcome back and congratulations on your continued winning streak.

Sorry to hear that so many people hate their jobs...necessity makes it worse sometimes...look for something better??

Haribo...glad to see that you are doing what the doctor ordered.

Taplady...hope that OH is feeling better soon

Crazychik....OH and I did this not so long ago and I had to hold the ladder, resolving to run away if he fell.....

Nix....would love a wicker picnic hamper....but when you mention the weight it puts me off...congrats anyway.

MrsMCawber....will you lay off the cooking, there will be nothing left for the rest of us.

Alibob...you are so efficient with George...take it a bit easier...DD will be fine, I think that they just worry that baby will replace them in your affections and once they sort that they are grand.

Frogga...enjoy your sweets and DVD and stop nagging...know what it feels like when OH innocently spends money you haven't got as a treat for the family....he really didn't mean to be a naughty boy....spend the £30 and then there will be no problem!

Hugs to all in need and in pain of one kind or another...to-morrow is another day.

    Love

    Marie
