Can I come in for just 2 minutes to say how much I HATE w**k! I know it funds everything else in my life but blimey, what I wouldn't give to be at home right now.

    Lil moan over.

MrsMc - hope your sister comes through everything ok.
Everyone else - I am jealous of all the baking and pieing and washing even - wanna swap places with me for a week? :D

This mood has nothing to do with the fact I have dropped a stupendously large b****k at work and have been dealing with the fallout all morning :o

Nothing much else to report, except tea tonight is chicken breasts with cherry tomatoes, pesto and creme fraiche with mash and broccoli. DD has Brownies and I must remember to take £4 with me for her trip.

Whilst DD is at Brownies I need to do some washing and start cleaning my house in preparation for Friday when DD has her High School Musical 2 party!!

Glad to see you posting again Catowen, and heavenleigh - hope you're ok

Yes... you certainly can say it and I sympathise... am approaching serious burnout with both my jobs, one of which provides me with accomadation and the other I need to live on as the pay from job 1 is so small... but unless I want to go back to living in an overpriced shoebox on a terrifyingly small amount of money, I am stuck :)

I just typed a long message and its gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so fed up with this happening...............

Lottie this am, more beans........going to make a crumble to use more of the apples.

Need to go to Argos to get a jigsaw, I have some wood to make 2 shelves for the bathroom.........cannot keep asking my daughter to do these little jobs when I can do them myself.

Spent some time to clear out some wood we had been storing in the bedroom at the side of the wardrobe, I can get my little sewing machine down between the wardrobe and the table.......I am working on a ring pillow for my friends daughter, I have stitched out a sample, need to dredge up enough courage to start on the silk satin!!!!!

Right I am off...............the kitchen calls...............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Hi!

am worried about DH, he's txt me this morning and is in a lot of pain with his back again, the Tramadol doesn't seem to be enough this time, he thinks its his sciatica again as well as his worn out disk. Have told him to take time off but he is worried about our finances. I told him if he doesn't have time off now he may be forced into longterm sickness again. He cut all the hedges yesterday which kicked it all off again.

have done my cleaning at Mums(earned £20:D ) it needed it though!

Have got to vacuum yet and then make the fishcakes but am determined to find half an hour for a read( well I am on holiday;) )

Catowen - nice to see you back!:j

    Hello All!

Quick post as I have to go and wash the colour of my hair in a min! so Im only half way thru readin the thread! I also noticed that my hair colour has jumped up £1 a box!!!

Been to the gym this morning and weighed myself on their scales and according to them it looks like ive lost 7lbs!!!! :j so Im quite pleased!!!

Went back to collect DD from nursery and they too gave me a form to fill in for her school place in 2009!!! (DLB) - apparently there have been such an influx of overseas visitors to our borough that there arent enough school places so we have to fill in the forms now to try and get a place lined up!!!!

I had some yoghurt to use up so ive made MrBadExample's Choc Yoghurt cake this morning - just taken it out of the oven - smells yummy!!!! but havent tried it yet!!!:D

alibob - My DS was 3 when I had DD and he really rejected me at the time - think its quite a normal reaction for awhile, they do come round!

off to rinse hair and them come back to catch up!! back laterxx

Oh I knew I had something to tell you lot - I won a picnic hamper a few weeks ago, lovely jubbly, very nice thank you...................anyway had a parcel delivered at work a couple of days ago and guess what it was? Yup, another wicker hamper, a Cath Kidson one this time :o

Now I am a sophisticated lil monkey, I have been known to quaff wine by a river bank on the odd occasion but even I don't need two wicker picnic hampers. Truth be told I don't really need one, they weigh a tonne and tupperware in a ruckie is far more practical.

I had a look on Ebay and they don't fetch much so I think I might donate one to DSs school for a raffle or something

    Thanks for listening :D

    And work still sucks :p

    Good afternoon all

Well Im sorry for keeping you all in suspense. I can see that my good neighbour DLb has filled you in!
I didnt even get the time to do a post this morning.
Like a div, I locked myself out the house again! As you know, this is becoming a habit now! (about 5 times in 2 months). Luckily my mum turned up, (she's a lot slimmer than me), so with help from dlb and borrowing her ladders, and shoving my mum through a small window. I was able to get back in! I know that a lot of you have said about leaving the window open! But to be honest, it's been a godsend! One day I hope i'll learn! Do you think! Anyway, dlb, has kindly said for me to leave a key at hers! I will get some cut on Friday! My boss asked if any of my neighbours phoned the police, I said no she didnt have the time, as she was holding the ladders! :rotfl:

Savoury mince & mash for dinner. Really cant be bothered to do a great deal. I must try & get motivated as the House is mega untidy, so will try and sort that out.

Ims orry Ive not had chance to properly read, but I have noticed that Catowen's back! Yahoo!!! Good girl! Welcome back

    Catch you later xxx

P.S DS made a lovely fresh fruit salad yesterday at school, we had it after out dinner with ice-cream!
