Morning all,
Today's list from me is another boring one I'm afraid!
* Been to gym to make the most of the membership & filled water bottle there
* Washing on quick 30 degree wash
* Check banking/update spreadsheet
* Pick up kids library books
* Prep smoked paprika turkey for our meal tonight using spices from the use up box
smells amazing!
* Take an after school snack for one of the kids after school as we are going bike shopping straight from school as my other child is at a friends for tea
* Update kids pocket money sheet
* Check lucky phone
* Check tcb see if its payable yet
* Diced the last of the peppers from the fridge and added to the freezer bag
* Radiator shuffle
* Trying to clean up the yankee candle jar we finished off last night, will use it to store something in, need to think what though!
That will do for now, better crack on, have a good day all.
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Aftetnoon all

Up stupidly early this morning due to coughing
Not a great deal achieved, but here is today's list:
Posted 3 ebay items, had to drive as one was a really big box
Sold a dress that I no longer wear, had it ages but it was worth listing as it has been very little worn and was from Monsoon. It is too big for me now :j
Listed more things
Heated up leftover soup from yesterday for lunch, toasted some bread that had gone a bit dry to go with it
Will cook dinner in a minute using food we already have
Managed another NSD :T
Got out into the garden this afternoon, dug some leeks for soup tomorrow, did some weeding, and spread compost on part of my raised veg bed and round the fruit trees
A bit of exercise, and now I can get veg waste into this composter again :T (they were both full)
Walked dog, more exercise
No surveys about today
Got a load of washing mostly dried on the line
Right, better do some vegetables!0 -
- Still haven't found the crown!LuckyPenny wrote: »Morning savers,
It's my day at home today and thank goodness because I'm worn out. Did a market research on the way home last night.
- I've got another market research today - free lunch
- Pick up 3 for 2 Argos toys and list 1 for sale
- FPL
- Look up Aldi super 6/meat offers and make a shopping list.
- Go shopping: Home Bargains, Aldi And Morrisons to get the best deals
- Post new eBay listings: books which I always find slow to move
- Look for Elsa's crown! Selling a doll and I just know it's somewhere!
- check ipoll and market research apps
Think that's it for me, LP x
- Already got a buyer for the 3rd toy.
- Wombled 2 Costa receipts for loyalty points
- Found a nice fleece £40 reduced to £10 for my DH
- Found some good offers in Morrisons - Nescaf! decaf £4 so got a few. Also, got a Chinese takeaway bag half price £3.50 in the reduced bit. Looked in the other reduced bit and got some cellotape with 75% off.
- had a delicious 2 course lunch with market research.
Off to eat some prawn crackers, nom, nom!Competition wins £14,136.30[\COLOR]0 -
Ally you win the prize for the most interesting activity today. Photographing squirrels sounds fun, did the sun shine? It was a nice afternoon here.
Paid stuff 1, a little on paid stuff 2, saw parents, posted an ebay sale, collected DS from work (moped in garage again), cooked fajhitas, sorted clean washing, put another load in and here I am. I am actually supposed to be checking our finances. Tired.
I will have to work tomorrow but on the upside my brother and family are visiting and we are going out for a meal for DS1s 18th. I dont actually have the money to go out for this meal hence why I really need to be working tomorrow!0 -
Morning guys didn't post yesterday as was in the big smoke for a conference. Left the house at 6.45 and got back after 10! Was a really useful conference and had free coffee, lunch and snacks. Afterwards we went for a meal and at the end my boss insisted on picking up the bill. So all in it cost me £2 for a coffee!
Things for today:
Going to go and jump in the bath in a minute
Load of washing
All meals from stores
Meeting with dd in a bit, think we're going into town so will park a bit outside of the city for free and walk in
Depending on how wet it is I might go to the alottment but if not spend an hour in the garden sorting out
Think we are starting the garage renovation today - we are going to turn it into a home gym (so oh can stop paying £40 pm) but needs a lot of work!
Games and wine with oh this evening...
Post fleabay sale. Must do this today!
Probably photo some things from garage to list tomorrow
That'll do. Happy weekend guys xDF as at 30/12/16

Morning determined careful you don't slip in the bath whilst jumping
enjoy your day. Is DD settled in her place now?
It's chucking it down here, which may help actually. It's the last day of the fair and we've still not been, but DD is keen to go but in this weather it would just be awful, so hopefully that will save us. Other things:
Check banking, surveys, FPL and £co
Make pineapple cake
DD x 2 to dancing, subs to be laid but from their 'pot'
Meals from stores
Radiator shuffle at any point heating on today
Meal plan for next week
Movie and popcorn tonight I think after tea
Saved wrapping from pillows and another item that was delivered for fleabay sales
Relist some fleabay items
Think that's about all, enjoy your Saturday. PF.0 -

I think so pf. It's really hard to tell with her, always up and down! She has a bf who seems to be good for her so that's keeping her fairly stable to my knowledge! She's consistently coming to fortnightly contact for 2 months now and that's always a sign she's doing okay :jDF as at 30/12/16

Morning everyone
The weather is awful here, its still as dark as it was last night and its raining! I have hauled myself out of bed and got dressed though otherwise I think I'd feel rough! I don't think I have much planned for today, OH is still in bed asleep so Ill see when he wakes up! I went to bingo last night and won £60 so I'm rather pleased about that! Todays list:
- Check bank accounts
- All meals from home
- Swagbucks/My Survey/Nectar Canvass
- Have a lazy day (Depending on OH!)
Have a relaxing weekend all xDebt free once - Back again | Current debt: £2479.50 - January 2025 | Make £2025 in 2025 #11 - £41/£20250 -
Hi everyone
Bob - sorry I was talking in riddles yesterday - I have one cc that allows money transfers but the limit isn't high enough to pay off the car finance. I have another card with a higher limit but that only allows balance transfers... Hmmm
Hope you're all well. Not long now katy_ann - exciting times.
OH got paid - so very happy about that. He's still not added it to YNAB so I'm not 100% happy
but getting there! I am also due another £440 next week - phew! We made it!
Spoke to MIL who is going to give us money for Christmas that we can put away for holiday. We will also get money from my parents to go towards it. :A
Right, I'm off to check car insurance quotes...
