    Evening all :)
Not a good day, what with my cold, the News  and a troublesome ebay buyer :( Ended up refunding the ebay buyer and telling her to keep the item as she was demanding that I pay return costs (I had already refunded the cost of the item and postage paid). There was nothing wrong with the item, just smaller than she had envisaged it, apparently. Hmm, how big is a tealight holder supposed to be.... Anyway, couldn't be bothered to argue with a very rude person, or mess about with ebay cases, so decided to swallow the small loss rather than pay out about what the item is worth in addition to the refund, in signed for postage costs :rotfl:

    Anyway, apart from that:
    Sold 2 items
Got some lovely feedback on items already sold, which cheered me up after the tealight debacle :rotfl:
HM meals, used YS chicken drumsticks to make something called 'chicken in a pot with peas', which is basically chicken and potatoes browned on the hob, add a sliced onion, a squashed clove of garlic, a few sprigs of thyme and cook a bit more on the hob - gently - to soften the onion (but not burn the garlic:eek:), then tip it all into an oven tin, pour over 300ml of chicken stock - I used a cube this time - and cooked in the oven at gas 5 till it was all golden brown and cooked through, then added a couple of handfuls of cooked frozen peas and heated through. Always popular! You get what is basically roast chicken, roast potatoes, peas and gravy with only a frying pan and an oven tin to wash up :D
    Not spent anything :T
Looked online at car insurance comparisons - my renewal is not much more than the lowest price available, which was a company I had never heard of. Decided to stick with LV as I have been impressed with their customer service, and I don't think the potential for hassle is worth it to save £20 over the year! Haven't paidit yet, as it is not due till the end of the month, so figured it can wait a week :)
Hoovered the stairs and tidied up a bit - was supposed to be having GD today but her Daddy is poorly and was at home with her, so I will probably have her later in the week instead.
