    Evening all,
Its been a weird day today and doesn't feel like Sunday at all :)
Don't feel like I got anything useful done as dh needed peace & quiet at home to work on a thing for work, he's been really stressed about it and needs this thing to go right as it will move him up the ladder at work and they pay a bonus if he gets his chartership. I ended up taking kids to my parents and we had lunch with them to get out of his hair for a while.
Feeling a bit blue tonight, just can't put my finger on why  :undecided

  • Sorry you're not feeling 100% luckylady hope tomorrow is a brighter day. Well didn't manage everything in my list, but didn't stop either. Did nearly 2 hours in garden, looks much better - I did this in lieu of a run ;)

DH did loads in kitchen, home made sausage rolls, treacle tart and roast dinner :D I made a batch of bread swirls - half chorizo and cheese (both from freezer) and half apple and cinnamon. DH like the savoury so much I made a second batch of ham, cheese and caramelised onion (also from freezer) - will freeze some but DH said he'd take one to work with soup (which he'll make tomorrow)

Left over cheese sauce made small bit if bolegnase into lasagne for DD for tomorrow

DD had outdoor picnic and spent a few hours using chalks to 'paint' the patio. Great free entertainment :D

I also vacuumed upstairs and both cars. Ordered a Christmas present as I saw an offer code on FB, saved me £9.20 on a £24 gift that I had put off buying before due to delivery cost :D

Just going to try a few rows of my knitting before bed.

Bob, when I'm near a Costa I walk through and check any receipts I see left on the tables. I usually find 1 or 2.

I literally never see a single receipt left in my local. How odd! It makes me wonder if there are a high proportion of contactless users in that branch as you don't get a receipt then. Or cash users...shame as Id love to find Costa lots ones. Mr S reciepts are everywhere!

Hope you feel better soon. Maybe you feel blue because you had such a great day yesterday so today's a bit blah?
