Morning all,
Wish we had a covering of snow here!! Just rain and more rain.
Dog walked x1

Prepped tea, and just going to do a bit of baking.
Kids rooms not looking too bad (had a little clean up yesterday as they were both out), will run the hoover over later.
Need to ring the vets, the dentist and start to tackle the ironing pile. First a cuppa, and maybe a biscuit or two.
See you later x0 -

.Ooh-er the world is a strange place this morning..
It's still strange this afternoon and it's going to stay that way for quite a while, sadly.I, of course, had bare feet and now have to stand all day with bits of glass in the soles of my feet. Red wine dribbles are all over the carpet (been at them with stardrops which appears to have worked).
*ouch* I hope your feet are okay, Mumto5, and that the carpet scrubs up fine.
We're turning out OH's wardrobe at the moment, which is much needed. He WILL *fling*.
We'll have to put another stretch of fencing up on our back wall as a local cat has worked out how to get into to our supposedly secure yard and sundeck. Devil Cat is much smaller than this wretched visitor and probably a few years older but isn't prepared to give up an inch of his territory, which is worrying. Fortunately we had a roll of something sturdy enough under the chalet so we picked it up this morning and we'll put it up this afternoon between the showers and despite the gale.
That's as much as I can cope with today.Better is good enough.0 -
Please tell me this is a joke? I've never known snow this early in the autumn!
I'm working today, start at 11.30. I really could do with another day off but I'm timebanking today. It will be useful as I don't have any holiday left to take this side on 31.1.17.
DH took a glass of wine upstairs to watch tv last night. He left it on my bedside table. I knocked it over this morning and it smashed into millions of pieces. I, of course, had bare feet and now have to stand all day with bits of glass in the soles of my feet. Red wine dribbles are all over the carpet (been at them with stardrops which appears to have worked).
The TD is working again but the Dy$on died. I have bought a new one with a ball. It was fiendishly difficult to put it together! The dog doesn't like it and keeps trying to bite it!
I will do another load of washing and set the DW off and go and find a jumper to keep the cold away at the bus stop!
Snow joke (s'no joke)
Hope your feet are ok and you managed to pick it out - tell him to use a kiddies sippy cup next time xxx
Roads are clear but still roof / garden / fields covered. We haven't had it this early in the season for a long time. Drive to college was ok, although I hear the city centre was bad where all the motorways meet.
Just having 10min before I go get the littlies. Need to make sure we get all wellies coming home today - we're bound to forget something...
Tonight I need to move some furniture around and I had a delivery today of some supplies to help make the conservatory space better. I think my dad was going to pop up this week for any odd jobs so he might help me. I need a big tarp or garden table cover or something.
Sofa is coming in the morning, which means I can pop out in the afternoon. Also need tights for DD, hers had a teeny hole this morning and kept sliding down...
Also need to S&S bathrooms and look at the list.
Catch y'all laterBossymoo

BM You have inadvertently made me smile- so succinct and true. And to think The Simpsons predicted this would happen in an episode 16 years ago (google it if you fancy a laugh)

Ouch mumto5, hope you got the glass out, sounds like from what you said it's stuck in. eek.
2.5 hour journey home from work rather than 30 mins means I've just had lunch. Afternoon plans to tidy have gone to pot!
House is awful, both OH and I haven't been feeling well so didn't wash up or anything last night. Fortunately put DW on this morning.
I'll finish my cuppa then WM on and Mr T is due to arrive.0 -

It was also a headline in a back to the future film that made Marty mcfly go back to change the past in an attempt to put things right.

Hi all
Been a bit awol. So busy at the paid stuff. But DH been home today and dusted and hoovered right through which is a huge help. - although no work means no pay for him which is not good.
Need to get back on to the laptop and do more paid stuff. Tired.
Oh and Mumto5 if you can put kitchen roll over the carpet where you cleaned it and put something heavy on top it will draw out any remaining wine. The kitchen roll will probably go pink even if you think you have got the carpet clean!
OK work to do ...0
