I have spent about 5 hours today following up a phonecall. Not best pleased, but it was a favour for a friend with a deadline. I will polish my halo tonight - does that count as Flying too? :rotfl:

Valli, that is one way to get a day off, I hope they pay you for the day.
ATB, I am guessing your OH is self employed, if the money is not forcoming, then after relevant letters and phone calls, go for a small court claim. for the future going forward, get your OH to ask for a 40% or so deposit up front.

Valli we haven't had a wooty woot for a while, thanks, it always makes me smile x plus not-catching-bug vibes coming your way!
ATB my OH has his own business, it drives him crazy when people don't pay immediately! I have to hold him back, as he starts getting wound up if they haven't paid by 24 hours after sending the invoice. OH always starts with a phonecall to "just check you have received our invoice, as we don't seem to have received payment". Hope you get it sorted xx
Iona hope your OH is OK x0 -
Morning all! Cup of coffee in bed then I have to get up because DS'S bed is being delivered. Tip running shall be done, too *FLING*
No paid stuff for me, but some wfh to do.
and today will be 48 hours since I cleaned up after a sick child so no sicky bug vibes needed!

*No sickie vibes* heading your way, Valli.
I'm waiting on three addresses for my American cousins' photo circulation Frog, but is done. Very unhappy with the quality of the work $taple$ did for me at the start of the job which I now realise was one of the problems with it. It took several hours to sort out the mess they'd created and redo most of their work. Lesson learned about checking the quality before leaving the store in future. Still, we had an interesting time on F'book messaging each other yesterday; most of them are in total meltdown. Glad your GA thing is almost there too, Ionafan.Another pile of paperwork migrated to the office to sort/file/shred. Where does it all come from?
It breeds.
(((Hugs))) ATB. I hope the money comes through really soon. I used to do a bit of credit control and the vast majority of people did pay up if I phoned them every day when the invoice wasn't paid within a reasonable length of time. I was always, always super-polite to them up to and including when very occasionally I used to slap in the paperwork for the small claims court. Some of the paid then, one or two didn't and we always won but that didn't necessarily result in payment even then, so gentle prodding for as long as you can is probably the best way forward. (My OH doesn't do stress, but then, truthfully, he doesn't do much except his own thing.)
Welcome back Macpep! You know you'll get the muddle sorted by nibbling away at it, and you're in the right place to get to grips with it. If you're not feeling too good may I suggest just dot-to-dotting to begin with so that your immediate surrounding area makes you feel better? It sounds as though you're a bit under the weather, so I'm sending a packet of *healing vibes* to help you along.
OH has flung! Not much, but three jackets have left the building and we've also sorted a small pile of kitchenalia to go, as well as choosing which teatowels and aprons to use and the rest has been put aside in the attic where it can be found again when we need it. He finds it very difficult to let stuff go, so I'm over the moon. I'll be trundling a drawer full of gibble down regularly to go through the same process again and again until I can get the longterm gibble down to manageable levels. It's progress.Better is good enough.0
