Morning all. Ooh-er the world is a strange place this morning. I take it you got some sleep Narco.

It's pouring with rain here so I'm doubtful that I'll be able to fit in a dog walk before the paid stuff. Need to sort out finances first as DH has been spending.

And LittleyDog has to go to the vet today for her booster.

Right, lots to do, better get on.

I have about an inch of the white stuff on my car - it's started to settle on the road as well, and still coming down in big, soft flakes. The sky looks full. Quite pretty really...

I've left the piggies in their hutch today for the microclimate, lol. Just gave them a handful of spinach and some more of their nuggets.

DD wants me to take her to school on her sledge, bless. I did plan for extra layers last night though, so they'll be having their vests on today!

I've got college too - hope the traffic isn't too bad. I'll take a :coffee: for the journey.

No snow here but we're down in Bristol so didn't expect anything. World's gone crazy today and a lot of US people are in shock from the result. Bit like Brexit all over again!

Going to vacuum this morning and put some washing on. Still no hot water from boiler and waiting for it to be repaired - J is going to chase them up. I'm going to change S's bedding too as it needs it and have a general tidy up in his room.

Please tell me this is a joke? I've never known snow this early in the autumn!

I'm working today, start at 11.30. I really could do with another day off but I'm timebanking today. It will be useful as I don't have any holiday left to take this side on 31.1.17.

DH took a glass of wine upstairs to watch tv last night. He left it on my bedside table. I knocked it over this morning and it smashed into millions of pieces. I, of course, had bare feet and now have to stand all day with bits of glass in the soles of my feet. Red wine dribbles are all over the carpet (been at them with stardrops which appears to have worked).

The TD is working again but the Dy$on died. I have bought a new one with a ball. It was fiendishly difficult to put it together! The dog doesn't like it and keeps trying to bite it!

I will do another load of washing and set the DW off and go and find a jumper to keep the cold away at the bus stop!

Wacky Wednesday ~ those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One...
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!! paint your nails, make an appointment to have your hair done, a lovely soak in the bath.. whatever you feel like!!
Level Two...
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Level Three...
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Make a start on that decorating job you REALLY want to get done before christmas!!!!!
Extra Task List
Go to bed early!!!
Hug a friend!!!
30 minutes ironing..you know you want to do it!!!
Do something really crazy!! .. puddle jumping or singing all the way home from school or work!!!

Deep Clean Challenge
Sort the book shelves.. and toy boxes.. what can be flung? we are making room for those lovely new things Santa will be bringing soon if we are all being good boys and girls!!.. So get rid of all the things that are no longer required! Just keep flinging, just keep flinging!!

Eventually went to bed but kept checking what was going on via kindle under the bedclothes, so not as much sleep as would have been wise as I'm working this afternoon. Wacky Wednesday about sums it up. No snow here, just grey and murky.
Have put DW on, that's about it. And had a long chat with my brother.

Ouch to glass in the foot, hope you got it all out Mumto5 if it was you.

I did not get any flying done yesterday, as I had a busy day at Uni, I am going to update my list and then make a start.

Monday Mayhem ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Look online for a new belt for the hoover, as it decided to break last week and as yet I have done nothing about
Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!!
Measure the curtain size required for the living room
Clean a window or two.
Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!!

Terrible Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
Clean floors
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Look into getting a new dining table
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clean the windows in here!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
30 minutes ironing.
Take a freezer/fridge inventory and see if you can start using it up and making space for christmas goodies!!

Resend email for Santa
Look at free santa letters for the kids
Spend 2 hours on uni work
Go into town and get a new diary for uni (I spilt a can of coke all over mine yesterday and its sticky and ripping)
Look at Black Friday deals online (already found Ds2's main present)

I remember snow in October half term, but it was the year that was really bad 09/10?

Just having a quick break from the paid stuff. Before it this morning I did some of the hall jobs from Monday.

Still raining.
