    Morning,

Kiddies away to school so all peaceful here. Just started my list-writing and although I will do the kitchen later, I really need to sort the room of doom aka the den. I have space in my bin for some flingage so should be able to make plenty of room to get the new sofa in.

Piggies went absolutely wild for spinach this morning, so funny to watch. Can't see they are drinking much though, DD says she saw girl pig sniffing at the water bottle, there is also a bowl but they tend to walk through it rather than drink from it :rotfl:

V cold here, quite a frost, but no white stuff yet...

  • Morning all,

    Decluttering here!

Some for recycling, some for charity, some for bin. Looking lots better. I have a box of photos to sort, and decide which frames I'm keeping.

Put a couple of things on eBeast. One has a bid already :) and also put two up on local FB for free, someone wants to collect later...

We have nothing on after school so I think we'll spend some time in the conservatory, I want to sit and think how I'm going to fit the two chairs back in, given we have a rather large hutch and pen in there  I'm even wondering whether to put the hutch outside and make the pen more of a permanent thing that they can stay in all the time. Until spring, when we'll start to introduce them to outdoor living.

Just having some hm chicken noodle soup (mmm) then will sort DD pile of colouring books etc. Her drawer is overflowing again lol.

Oh, I've also WD40'd the car locks and put some lubricant round the door edges too - last year my doors kept getting stuck in the frost! Have de-icer and scraper at the ready too!

My dog isn't bothered by fireworks luckily. Have you tried any of the Adaptil products? You can get a hormone collar that is supposed to keep them calm, or there's a plug in, or I think there's something you put on their food as well.
Pete Wedderburn, who writes the vet column in the Saturday T'graph (and imho speaks a lot of good sense) speaks very highly of Adaptil stuff.
Sending extra calm-happy-dog vibes to Whiz. x

Oh, and I brought two kittens home today - utterly mad (me) and completely adorable (them)...
Ooh - what do the woofers think of them? :o

Mr LW has dusted the hall and bedroom, and also sheep-onna-stick'ed these rooms. :D

We're off out shortly; he wants to visit the cinema to see Dr Strange, so cheapy Tuesday + my CEA card = not too much money spent (plus we don't buy drinks or snacks while we're there). Decided to go for the 14:00 performance, as going in the evening really knocks me for six these days.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Haven't got much done yet. Had to take my parents to the doctor for my dad's medicine review. Then we nipped to Mr As for some bits. Went back to theirs to talk money  :( Then dropped DD2 to work.
Now I'm home, put DW on and WM with dogs bedding. Just going to have a bite to eat then make a proper start on the kitchen.

Not a bad day yesterday considering I didn't get home til 8:15pm. My general to do list isn't looking great though! Have altered todays list to suit me as well, not going to worry about catching up what I didn't do on Monday or I'll never get caught up!! I have Wednesday afternoon at home so will be using that to catch up on all the admin bits that are currently on my to do list!
