Welcome to the clan facelessnumber xx

Quite productive here. Popped to library to sort DS books, then to sp0rts direct for footballing essentials. Cleaned piggy pen and put the gp's in with fresh hay and a handful of kale each :) also swept conservatory floor.

Dusted and vacced LR, wiped round and removed abandoned toys. Vacced stairs down, de-gibbled hall and dusted and vacced.

Set DW going, and WM and washed a few plastic cups. Checked my accounts over. Made lunch. Emptied fridge and wiped ready for shopping delivery.

Phew! It's kept me warm, though :rotfl:

I'm now going to start my homework which I really ought to have done before now!

I've changed the cat litter which lives in the bathroom, so I've also vacuumed and moped the floor in there. Saves a job from later in the week.
I've collected up the kids (kids?! They are 18 and nearly 21 now! ) carp from around the front room and dumped it in their room. I've also deposited their clean washing on their beds. It will no doubt be dumped on the floor later, hence why I refuse to do anything in their room anymore.
I've vacuumed the landing and stairs, then had a thought that I haven't meal planned this week so abandoned the vacuuming to do an inventory of the chest freezer and write a quick meal plan for the week.
It's really piddling down here. The rains hitting the living room windows so hard it sounds like hail stones
I've just stopped for a drink then I'll be back to the vacuuming. Luckily I dusted the other day so won't need to do that but do need to sort out my muddlely corner before the girls start commenting on it "you moan about us" etc.

Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
    • Clean a window or two.
    • Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!!

      Deep Clean Challenge
Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Clean fire-surrounds.

And have been for a run and washed my running stuff. Just need to hang it up before my next meeting. I've decided not to wait for full loads of running stuff, it's far to unpleasant!
  • Hi flying squad.
Thanks valli and natty for the lists. Very pleased with today's as I cleaned the lounge yesterday, I need to tidy up a bit and clean the table - DS snuck off in here with paints while I was on the phone to my grandad!
Went to work then put away a load of washing, brought off a set from the airer due to put away and took a load out of the washing machine to dry, but that's it! We are on top of the washing!!!! Just had lunch and I will dig out the drill (eep) to put up the shelves. I should do the switches downstairs as I didn't do them last week but the hall and stairs are as clean and tidy as they can be. Still got the parcels for work to move.... Maybe I'll sling them in the car now... I might even do the downstairs windows if the shelves go well (or to avoid doing them! )

More healing vibes heading your way Lynnejk.

Welcome back Mumof2 and Faceless Number.

Bathroom sparkly, middle layer dysoned - well, the bits that show, anyway. I've spent hours just sorting out stuff. I live in hope that the number of hours spent sorting and tidying will diminish one day but I'm beginning to wonder .... The photographs destined for American cousins are still hanging around like a bad smell.

Thanks for the lists, Valli and Natty. I'm in, in my slatternly way, late to the party as always.
    Better is good enough.
  • Went in the under stairs horror to dig out the drill.... It's such a carpfest I decided to empty it, clean it, return only what needs to be there in clearly labeled boxes until I can get some good storage and bin/tip/giveaway everything else this week.... An hour in and the hall is full, there's still stuff in there, I've not found the drill and I'm losing the will to live!
