Bless you Frogletina! Please don't ever apologise for getting such huge problems off of your chest, or at least, a little I hope!Thank Heaven your Son is relatively ok and there was no TIA. I hope he still stays well and echocardiogram reveals that all is well, or that something can at least be done to help.
Oh your poor ex!What an awful dilemma that must be for the entire family to have to deal with. However, at least you're doing the very best possible for him..together.
I sincerely wish you all the very best possible, especially in getting the proper help your ex's needs. Anytime you want to chat, please come on the thread and do so without hesitation. Take great care of yourself and of each other!
Thank you Sue-UU
An update to you and Jakes-mum and everyone for the support I have received.
My eldest DD, son in law and I visited my son today who is due to go back to work tomorrow night after a week's leave. He cooked us a lovely Sunday lunch and has been gardening this morning. We did not stay too long as he was looking rather tired.
I visited my ex in hospital three times this week. On Tuesday to speak to the consultant with my youngest DD, and twice for visits just to him. A few times he has been telling visitors he is too tired and to go away and come back 'tomorrow'.
On Saturday, he was sitting in the chair by his bedside reading and in good spirits. He was happy to see me and my eldest DD, and he is going to be discharged on Thursday. He is having a care package in place and will have carers visiting twice a day for 6 weeks.
Thursday is the day I fly to Turkey for my holiday but I have faith in my daughters that he will be well cared for by them as well as the carers.

Just potted £3.25p. £2.75 had been left on the living room mantle last week. I told everyone in the house that if it wasn't claimed by today, in the pot it went. Nobody else seemed to think it was theirs, so I just potted it. The other 50p was one husband gave to me earlier, as he found it on the back bedroom floor and thought I'd like it :TDebt Free Journey started 21.05.20170

Hi there
Decided to collect the coinage and pot it before going back to work tomorrow. £3.26 including a seriously grubby £2 coin. So my pig is fed - but doesn't seem to be getting any fatter.
Take care everyone

Hello everyone!
Lots going on here but happy to read good positive news and as always see you all looking out for each other! And of course lots of potting!
Safe travels to anyone going or gone away and I hope you have lots of fun making lots of happy memories.
Hugs to anyone feeling less than well, in any way. I am loving that feeling of the sun coming out after being stuck under some seriously stormy clouds for such a long time and am not taking it for granted. I have to accept (and it's very difficult) that there will still be dark days (I've had it rammed down my throat that 'recovery is a journey, not a destination'), but right now I'm going to try to enjoy every single sunny moment. Yesterday, Mum and I got caught in a torrential downpour on the way home from Nanna's and I started dancing in the rain! It was the loveliest momentI sincerely hope all those of you struggling right now will get to enjoy that same feeling very soon.
Just a fiver for my pot today - well, I say just a fiver, I'm pleased with that, but I was hoping for more, having bought something for a pound and paid with a £10 note, but no, just four stinky dusty old £1 coins! But they will stay in my purse and I will try to use those to pay for anything I need instead of withdrawing more notes from the bank. More people seem to get angry if my bank account is not well fed! But potted plenty from the boot sale so it's been a good weekend for the pot!
Keep up the good work, potters! Proud of you allxxx

Went to see kiss at Birmingham on Sunday night it was our Christmas pressie from the kids and was brilliant. The city seemed to be a sea of kiss tshirts and everywhere was packed with people, we couldn't find anywhere to eat out before concert so had a mse picking by the canal before we went in.SPC~12 ot 124

Here's hoping everyone had a very special Bank Holiday weekend SPCers! Have a lovely.
To all those of you not feeling well in any way or those who are poorly, I do hope that you'll soon get better and here for you are some {{{{hugs}}}} to help xxxx
Wow Westie, how wonderful for you! Enjoy yourselves and have fun.
Haven't been on for ages,
Kind of lost the knackHope to be able to get back on it again. Been saving a few pounds here and there.
Crikey Antomac, I'm almost shocked as I never thought it would be you losing the knack of potting!! All I'll say is ...think of that lovely time away you'll have IF you keep on saving - also, you really don't want your Wife bitterly disappointed now do you!
You're all of a sudden being almost inundated with potting cash, MLE007!! Brilliant work and long may it keep coming to you! :j
Well done with your DH & DD bringing the cash in for you to re-home, jakes-mum!!
YOU of all people would leave points (money to me) in your YouGov account???! Get a grip dear lady!I wouldn't concern yourself about all the leftover surveys, they'd have long gone by not any way. Yes, all invitations to do a survey are sent directly to your inbox so no need to worry.
Very well done to your Sister and BIL in competing in and finishing the Manchester run!!! :T:T
Excellent work with the car boot sale, Cazzie, it all sounds a great amount to me...and I'll bet your pot didn't kick up a fuss about it either!! Don't worry about wishing it had been more that you were able to pot, truth told I reckon it's pretty much the same for us all.
I was going to say shame on you for not using sun lotion, 32b3, but then I saw the amount you potted ....so all's forgiven! :j However, do try to remember how vital it is that it's used!!!Fantastic savings!!!
Well done FoxFace ....pretty good work with roadkill from you both as well!! Stay focused! :dance:Thank goodness the money didn't belong to any of the family! Great savings so far.
Great work Bubbs!! Sounds as though you enjoyed a good day together which will have done you so much good! A shame you didn't get that extra 8ozs off, but all the best for this weeks weigh in. :j Well done with the blood sugar reduction!
The abscess has settled down now and the dentist says he'll see how it goes before doing anything drastic - fine by me!!! :rotfl:
I'm so pleased things aren't looking so bad now, Frogletina. Your DS starting back to work is a wonderful sign for him. It sounds as though proper plans are being put in place for your ex, at least they will be keeping an eye on him along with the family.
You prepare to have a brilliant time in Turkey! It'll do you good to have a break from everything especially when you know things are ok here. Relax and thoroughly enjoy it all, and remember, your not able to give the best of yourself to others good unless you yourself are well rested!!

Very good work Miss DM!Don't worry about your pig not becoming fatter - it's got a LOT harder exterior than us!!! :rotfl:
Lovely to hear from you again, mossy. I hope the family are all well. Another dissertation in the making I see, very well done! Good potting still going on then!
More great work in potting your overtime, mrs-moneypenny!! :dance:Ill be honest in admitting to never having heard of Kiss, but I'm really pleased you had a fantastic time, a brilliant Christmas present for you!!
It's the first time ever I've sold something on FBook, delighted I got the courage to do as it got me £10 that has gone straight into the pot!!! Plus, while walking up to our friends earlier today, out of the blue was a 5p then a 20p followed by a 1p!!!!! So that's all in the roadkill pot!! :j
Have a lovely Wednesday, folks. Keep feeding those pots well!!!
Sue xx
