    Afternoon, all!

Well done on all that wiggling, jakes-mum! I'm glad to hear all those stinky old £1 coins are all ready to be exchanged for shiny new ones! Well done on the roadkill too!

I've managed to exchange and gather three new £1s and a £2 today from Mumma's shopping change so they will plinky plonk their way into the tin later on! And I've had to have a wee flutter on the Derby today so perhaps those nice little horses will finish in the right order for me and give me some extra money for the pot! Just had a little win on the 2.35 race with Laugh Aloud which was just such a positive happy name that I thought betting on him might bring a little more positivity into my world! And alongside that he went and brought me 64p as well! (I bet pennies each way, and choose my horses purely based on my favourite names, so 64p is quite a sum for me to win!) After careful consideration, I've reinvested that on the BGT Final tonight! I started the day with a fiver, don't know what I will finish with but fingers crossed for some extra pennies! (I won a whole £1.75 on the FA Cup Final last week, so I'm hoping I'm on a roll!)

Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine, keeping yourselves as safe and well as you possibly can, and keeping those pots fed and happy too! :D xxx

I have indeed gone on my holidays. I arrived in Turkey tonight..yipee

I probably won't post much while I am away as I am on my tablet, and won't pot anything either!

My ex came out of hospital today and has my two daughters, four cats and carers to keep an eye on him so I don't feel so bad.

    Frogletina

Excellent news of your ex, Frogletina, at least you can thoroughly enjoy your holiday knowing he's in caring hands! :D Don't even think of keeping in contact with us here,:naughty: holidays are for pleasure, just be careful of the drink cadgers this time around!! ;)

Brilliant potting for you once again, Lost!!!! At least you always help me in knowing a new month has stated!! :rotfl:

It's so good to have you back with us, siju! It sounds as though you had a glorious time in France, and thoroughly revelled in every moment that you were away, excellent!!!! :j Time now to reminisce on the wonderful memories ....and get back into potting!! ;)

Trouble is Lynne, siju's put me in a holiday frame of mind! :( I'll need to wait until the end of July! Still, we'll have Wimbledon to look ahead to eh Lynne!! :j :j Not so bad then. :D:D Great going with your £10er!!! You have a lovely weekend too.

A fair few old £1 coins in your pot then, jakes-mum, and now all swapped for new ones, a grand job!! Good work with the roadkill as well then, nice job! :T

    £15 in the pot post-shopping!!! :j

Have a lovely weekend, folks. Keep feeding those pots well!!! :D

Hello Sue, our beloved Fairy Potmother!

Unfortunately ERNIE didn't deliver this month in Cazzie land, but we live in hope for future months! And in the meantime, we keep comping in earnest!

I hope you are continuing to recover well from all of your recent ailments, and the sun is shining for you. And excellent post-shopping potting as always :) xxx

Had a good potting week by taking bus (cheaper than train) to work and taking own lunch. Have a good rest of weekend everyone. Thoughts with those having tough times.

Hi admiral_traveller! A warm welcome from me too! It's really nice here, I hope you'll like it, and good luck reaching your target!

Hello to the rest of you lovely lot, hope you have happy Sundays and stay safe wherever you are. I'm off to meet a friend for a cuppa - means I'll be parting with a ridiculous amount of money for a teabag and some hot water, but hopefully means I'll get some pot money in return! :) xxx

Another 3 £2s going in the tin tonight, and my Quidco total is up to £75.06.

Our holiday is fast approaching and I'm haemorrhaging money at the moment - a new bag here, new clothes/shoes there - so after our hols I've got to make a concerted effort to tighten my belt, raid my wardrobes/shoeboxes and get some stuff sold where I can, donated where I can't (or can't be bothered) and chuck non-essential cards in a drawer. All that said, I never save for our hols anyway as they usually fall between pay days - not the best financial planning but it is what it is. Having the dog with us this year is likely to curtail certain aspects, such as eating out and will depend on the dog-friendliness of other attractions. Hubby is quite happy to stay put and do nothing if he can, whereas I'm not great at just doing nothing (unless I'm sunning myself) :cool2: although our first week coincides with the second week of Wimbledon so I'll be watching as much tennis as I can get away with ;)
