Yes, I agree Frogletina, everyone is very supportive here. Even if we can't always give practical help, it sometimes just helps to put your thoughts down and know that someone out there is listening. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. xx

No, Sue-UU, we are off tomorrow. We are really looking forward to it, recapturing holidays from our youth as we speed across the continent in our 2 seater. My only worry is the limited luggage space. Although, my old bones may object to the trip too. :rotfl:

I have £1.91 to pop in the pot today - probably my last pot until we come home. A bientot. :D

Bon voyage (I think!?), siju! Travel safely and make lots of happy memories!

Hope today has brought a better day for you, Frogletina. It has for me after a bit of a dark day yesterday so I hope the sun is shining metaphorically as well as literally in everybody else's world. And if it's not, I hope it makes its way through the clouds again soon. Sending a big hug to anyone who needs one.

Just met some friends for a cuppa, and am pleased to report a beautiful £7 for the pot in the shape of a fiver and a rare and wondrous £2 coin! Now to spend some time in Nanna's garden.

Hope you all have a happy afternoon and come across some monies to feed those ever-hungry pots! :D xxx

    Evening

Nothing potted today as I used my card in tesco as the proper tills were too busy. The self service ones only take cards.

Frogletina, I hope your son and ex improve.

There is a venue which is hired out for filming next door to my house. Their building sort of wraps around the back of mine. Tonight they are filming right outside my bedroom window, I've heard the same theatrical arguement around 25 times now. they are drive no me mad. It's so loud!!

Oh 32b3, methinks this must justify a little visit with a shaking of the pot so they can offer some appropriate compensation! xxx

    Good evening everyone :hello:

I'm going down to 4 days a week after half term!!! The headteacher has been so lovely and wants to support me. However, a 20% reduction in salary for a while, with a 20% increase in spare time. I'm trying to find things for ME - including trying to learn Italian!

DH still hasn't tripped up recently. :o However, I've managed to pot £2 or so... Every little helps!

Welcome to all our new potters

    Evening

The actors and crew left at 1.30 this morning. There is bound to be a party in there this weekend. The venue has recently been taken over by new owners and they do not seem to realise that it's in a residential area.

    £1.05 potted today.

    I hope everyone is well.
