"Sealed Pot Challenge ~ 10"

Hi all. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.
This challenge has had unexpected bonuses... it's getting me out the house more (on the hunt for roadkill).
I'm physically disabled and have MH problems so don't often go out... but hunting for roadkill is quite addictive - though I must look a right sight with my litter picker (left side paralysed so use a litter picker in my wheelchair to pick things up!)
20p for the pot today!
Hickles69 - hope your life settles down soon - sounds like it has been hectic... nice potting though
Foxface - hey I'm in the same boat with debt, feeling in a quandary about saving vs paying the debt... so I'm mainly on 'roadkill and anything I didn't expect to have' is going in my pot
CazzieLT - cream tea sounds lovely! What a nice way to spend Sunday afternoon... and even better to get the coinage for your pot!SPC no. 462 TOTAL £48.11

Oh Incy, I thought finding roadkill couldn't get any more exciting, but you've just jazzed it right up! I'm glad it's getting you out of the house more - one of the best things you can do for your mental health but often one of the things you feel least like doing. I hope it was sunny where you are today and I hope there will be much more roadkill out there waiting to be found!
Out of the £8.22 there was a fiver and a new £1 coin so £6 for Cazzie's pot today. Very pleased with that but now I'm going to have to gather some more coins or that pesky new fiver on the top is gonna try and bounce back out! Got to try and have a no spending week this week as payday is still a week away and there's not much left in the bank, but hopefully if Mum gets more pot material I can change up some of the contents of my shrapnel pots and make sure that fiver stays put!
Hope you all have an excellent week filled with more pleasant surprises, roadkill and the happy clink of pennies and pounds landing in potsxxx

Hello Bubbs! Yes, hammer on as much as possible with that potting! :j So sorry to hear you've got diabetes but thankfully these days the web is always there to help us help ourselves a lot more. Take great care of yourself and do your best to shift some weight as that alone help so much!

Evening, potters! Happy weekend!
A nice fiver in the pot for me today, change from a purchase in Primarni for a friend's little boy's birthday (I swear most of my salary goes on presents!) My recent financial struggles have meant that I've made more effort to shop around and get the best stuff for the best prices, so I managed to find a t-shirt with ALL of the characters from Paw Patrol for £4.50. Cue my tasty fiver and 50p for the shrapnel tin!
Ooooh, MrsShazbat, I think you might have just changed my life! I had a little Google and am now all signed up to Quidco ready to make some serious cashback! Thank you very much for bringing this into my life! The big dilemma I have now though is do I pay with cash so I can get change for my pot or do I pay by card to get my cashback!? I'll have to keep an eye on the deals and stores involved and make careful decisions on a case by case basis! I am a frequent user of trainline.com though, so I was sold as soon as you mentioned that! I've also signed up to the Free Postcode Lottery that was mentioned in the MSE email a few weeks back - every little helps, right!? Martin would be so proud :money:
Have a lovely weekend, beautiful potty people! Stay well and keeeeeeep potting!xxx
Do you do cashback apps on the phone too? checkout smart and clicksnap, often have free food on them :T:TSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Gosh, I've missed a couple of days and the thread has been so busy......I'll have to work my way back through everyone's posts.

Afternooooooooon Pottersssssssssssssssss
Welcome to all our newbies! We do love new faces hereAnd don't be worrying about small potting due to debt repayment as tbh this is exactly why a lot of us first joined the debt free wannabee forum, too much debt and a light bulb moment. Any potting is good and another small step toward another payment off your cards/overdraft or even just a slightly easier christmas so be proud of your pennies!
Oooo well done Bubbs, I completely forgot about the phone apps, shopitize is another one but its not as great as it once was(still worth downloading though as sometimes they stick something worthwhile on there)
Hickles! how can your boy be 2??? I feel so oldbless him though, love to read about his potting
Well today DH decided to take me to hobbycraft  its very rare he has these moments of madness so I was in that car like a lightning bolt! They had very kindly sent me a £5 voucher for my birthday (with no minimum spend!!) and I needed a new ball of tiquoise for my rainbow blanket, which also happened to be on 3 for 2 :j so 3 balls of wool and a pack of plain cards to push me over the £5 and I spent a grand total of £1.90 :j :j then over to M&S for some free biscuits and a G/F cake for the boy as I had vouchers from my credit card I was a happy bunny!
Came home with a £2 coin and a shiny new £1 coin and DH changed up another shiny £1 coin with a cruddy old one from my purse so £4 into the pretty money tin and possibly some silver into the schrapnel tin as wellSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
