    Evening all

Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes - I am getting really bored now with the enforced resting. Am restarting my Spanish online lessons this week, if I can stay awake long enough :rotfl:

Trust you all enjoyed the BH weekend - we don't get them here and my DH works any BHs we do get anyway :( Mind he does get the days in lieu - but not the same somehow.

Finished April £10.37 over on the 'make £10 a day' thread, so have put that into the SP fund in the bank and added it to my signature :j

Hope you all have a lovely week

Hi lynne, nice to hear from you. Sorry all that resting is becoming tiresome but I'm glad you are doing it! Sounds like you've been putting the time to good use though, moneymaking! Any tips!? I'm desperately trying to make some extra cash selling my worldly goods on social media and that famous auction site but it needs to be more and it needs to be quicker! Well done on having some extra to feed your pot - well, the virtual one, anyway! Keep resting and I hope you are fully recovered soon :) xxx

    Evening, potters!

8 whole lovely pounds in the pot for me today - Mumma had got her hands on a new £5, a £2 AND a new £1 so I made the trade with a crusty old tenner (don't worry, I got the additional £2 in shrapnel!) So my pot is feeling full and happy!

Had a random competition win but unfortunately it was just one of those competitions giving away tickets to an event they probably can't sell them for so they give them all away for free! The National Pet Show this time! I don't even have a pet! I really need to vet the competitions I enter a bit more, I become a bit robotic and just enter everything!

Hope you've all had good days and done some good potting :D xxx

    Good evening

Sorry you are getting restless Lynne. Take it easy though, and don't do too much.

Cazzie, are you doing the walk for charity? if so, if you send me a link, I will sponsor you. Get you with your pet show win. a win is a win eh?

£1.88 potted today. It was hard getting up this morning after 6 days off, but it'll be easier tomorrow.

    I hope everyone is well.

Oh 32b3, that's incredibly kind of you. Thank you very much. I'm not sure what the rules are around sharing links on here, but if you have access to Justgiving, my real-life grown-up name is Carina Talmey and I am part of Team Southgate walking for St. Catherine's Hospice in Crawley. Thank you so much for your kind generosity.

Only 3 more days until another weekend! I always find these short weeks actually seem to drag more though, they feel like they should go quickly but they flippin' don't! Oh well, another Bank Holiday at the end of the month! (Although all the days are the same when you work for the NHS!)

Hope the rest of you have potted and potted good! :) xxx

    Evening, potty lot!

Well, my lucky streak with the Premium Bonds has sadly come to an end - looks like I'll have to keep working for a living! Oh well, there's always next month! (I can practically hear Martin wiggling his finger at me but I like the excitement and hope for the future they bring on the 3rd working day of every month - I don't get out much!)

Nothing withdrawn or spent today so nothing for the pot but nice to still have a few pennies sitting in my bank account, the end of the month is somewhat far away and all that! Kept an eye out for roadkill on my travels today, but no joy there! And am now gonna have to be on the lookout for these 'faulty' new £1 coins which are fetching pretty pennies - nice to see imperfections celebrated :)

The DVDs I have up for auction close at 10pm, currently standing at £6.55 with a whole 10 watchers so I've made myself comfortable and will hopefully enjoy a nice little bidding war later and am keeping my fingers crossed that we might hit double figures! Have someone picking up a few bits for £4 tomorrow as well so am hoping for a couple of yummy £2 coins!

Enough from me, happy potting! :D xxx
