I was feeling sorry for Ethan, but then he went and insulted Occupational Therapy, my beloved profession, and after that it was difficult to muster much sympathy!!! Doctors do this to us all the time but I thought Ethan was different...

I'm off to town to try and console myself by getting my hands on some change for my pot! xxx

    Afternoon pottersssssssssss

Hugs to everyone who is currently suffering health wise, having been very naughty and pushed myself too far again (my body just will not listen to me, I say I can do more, it says no, we have an arguement and it hits me for six just so it can win! (its vindictive like that!) i'm seriously considering disowning it  )

I agree with Cazzie, Vicky, everything happens for a reason and that was not the right job for you, your perfect position is out there and you will find it! Hopefully in the not too distant future, but I shall be here cheering you on for every interview you attend *\o/*

I absolutely love the new £5ers, but having done the land down under a few times and having relatives who live there I was already used to plastic money, so wasn't that big of a jolt to me. I do find them easier to stack in my purse, but having picked £5ers to come out of the cash machine in the bank this week and having one that must have been bloomin ironed it had that many perfect creases in it which stopped the machine pushing the notes up like its supposed to so I had to dig my money out the ejection hole, I can see how they are a royal pain in the back side for bank workers!

I had quite a bit of change yesterday that I potted but I dont have a rock and roll how much it was as I took the 2 munchkins to the cinema and was way over excited to finally be spending a saturday night outside the house to concentrate on what I was doing :rotfl:

Sorry to hear of your new diagnosis bubbs, but hopefully your reading has shown you that diabetes is something that can be well managed and doesn't have to cause you too many problems if you have a good team around you :)

With my recent health problems and my need to feel super financially secure, I'm trying to do some serious potting as I am determined to be as close to my £3,000 target of an Emergency Fund by Christmas as possible. With that in mind, I'm pleased to report a whole yummy £19 will be going in the pot today, a combo of change from shopping (I'm on a mission to see how many shop assistants I can alienate by paying tiny shopping totals with £20 notes!) and exchanges with Mumma for her pot-able change for some old shrapnel. My mini target for the pot is £1,000 but no harm in aiming higher, right!?

Wishing everyone happy and healthy weeks :) xxx

PS - I've also found this when attempting to withdraw the plastic fivers jakes-mum - there was one occasion when I wasn't sure who was going to win, me or the tightly clamped teeth of the ATM! (Actually, I should've known I would win because it involved money that was mine, so there was never really any contest, but it did leave me somewhat unnerved that I'd have to make sure I'm always in good fighting form when I'm getting money out!) I do feel for Westie and the other bank workers amongst us, for I fear once we are totally plastic, there will be many an argument occurring outside and inside financial institutions everywhere! xxx

PPS - Glad you got a night out, jakes-mum! I hope this means the littlest munchkin is recovering well from her recent traumas! :) xxx

Thank you! From your signature, it sounds like you're already doing a fabulous job with that! I plan to return to my local slimming group once I'm back at work - my eating has been astronomical whilst I've been off, mainly through boredom most recently, so I've got some serious pounds to shift as well as pounds to pot! Keep up the good work and I hope things continue to improve and stay nice and stable for you :) xxx
