Morning all
Lovely piggies, Bossy!
Everyone sounds really busy and productive.
I spent yesterday ferrying DH around - to 2 hospital appointments, and then dropped him off at his BSL evening course and picked him up later. Apart from cooking meals, I didn't really achieve anything else except 30 minutes of shut-eye (still tired from a long day on Tuesday).
This afternoon and evening we are off out together (to a performance by one of our favourite theatre groups this evening) so I shall have to try to do some serious studying this morning. I need to make progress with an essay.
The Gift Aid claim is still waiting to be submitted, but I am only waiting for one form to be returned now.
Tea made and WMx1 of 3 started. DH is still in bed so I can't strip it yet :rotfl
I must check that I've got enough Christmas cake ingredients to do some baking with DGD1+2 tomorrow afternoonotherwise I will have to fit in a shopping trip in the morning.
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all in need.0 -
Love the GPs Bossy, thanks for the photo. Pets = mess but they're totally worth it.
Welcome JellyB! Good to have you on board.
I hope the op goes well today, Lynne. I'll be thinking of you.
Exciting, Dizzy. Insert builders into a household and it follows that there will be arguments with OHs. Sounds normal to me.
A day late, but leaf raking has also started here - two black sacks already stuffed full and the sycamore hasn't even started. I've crammed the last of the bargainacious violas and pansies into pots, so apart from a sack of daffodil bulbs I shouldn't have bought (not at all sure where they're going to go) the only thing left to do is sweep up and then all the outdoor flying that needed to be done is done. Good-oh.
We're going through an extraordinarly long dry period here so I'm still watering the tree down the road but it does mean that washing is up to date. Five loads over the last couple of days. Excellent.
I spent Tuesday giving both letting rooms and the shower room a thorough clean, even dewebbing them all, together with the stairs and corridor so all I've got left to do is the carpet sucking. How can I have been so busy yet have so little flying to report? It's a complete mystery but at least I've caught up with Fred.
Happy Thursday Flyladies!Better is good enough.0 -
Hello!
I've been flying in the conservatory. Popped up to town for things for the school bake sale and some wood shavings.
Free range squeakers went in the garden (in pen) for half an hour while I emptied the hutch and cleaned floor s etc. All smells fresh in here now. They are back inside in the pen with a big tray of the wood shavings, two hidey huts and a green pepper to shareI can hear lots of crunching lol.
Just need to lay the hutch after my cuppa then I'll wash my friends pet carrier too.
Washed and hung out kids bedding. Will watch out for waspies!
I'm moving on to the kitchen after that!Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Window vac now registered in time to get free extension pole, charged up and trialled on some bedroom windows, bathroom mirror, bit of shower and the window in front of my computer so I can now see the birds at the feeder more clearly!
I load washing done and on line.
DW on.
Paperwork ready for this afternoon's assessment.
Continue with another report.
Honeybear yes I have a similar mystery - busy but not much flying to report........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Rather alarmed that birds are clearly so used to my dirty window (dirty from their bits of spat seed etc) that now it's clean, a starling just crashed into it but thankfully flew off! There's flying and there's flying......Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0

Hi all
Hope op goes OK Lynnex
Bossylove the pic
HB I'm ignoring the leaves. We are surrounded by trees. The drive is covered. Our garden has big trees. I'm pretending autumn hasn't started. I've got to much to do inside the house, never mind outside.
This morning :
Bike ride done.
Bill paid.
That's it.
Off to start the list at the very beginning x0 -
I've vacced all downstairs, got more washing on, moved the spare rug into the garage / den and generally picked up and rehomed all sorts.
Tidied pet supplies into a box and put some n3utradol pots in the conservatoryooo I need to empty the moisture traps too.
Just having a browse and going over to DFW to declare my sealed pot total - £627.84 !!! Some of which will be going to my credit card for recent hutch purchasesBossymoo

Time seems to be running away at the moment! So far today I have WUDUPA, unloaded and reloaded DW, made kids packed lunches, vacced all upstairs, done two loads of laundry, cleaned the loos and sink, taken the dog to the groomers, submitted the VAT return, paid yet more tax (*cry*), tidied toys up and done some work emails. Phew!
Having half an hour with my feet up now xMFW
