  • Hi mmm, I found this thread really help me get on top of things at home. Unfortunately I've been ill for about 2 weeks (getting better now), but the house is mostly straight and no longer overwhelming. Although I do have 70 advent calendars in the hallway to shift to work and school

You sound on the ball moo! I think I'd like to put up my shelves in the kitchen tomorrow. I bought them before the summer! I'm working 9-12 and the boys after school club finishes at 4:30pm so I have a nice patch of time to do those bigger jobs. I must ring the HA because the bathroom STILL has water coming in when it rains. I want to redecorate and lay a new floor (I have the vinyl tiles ready, they were free too), but I can't do anything while water is still coming in. They've been out three times to try and fix it, once with scaffolding. I was going to stain block it myself, but I'm that fed up they can do it!

It looks as though you may have cross-posted with Natty, Fran. The easiest way to stay with us and to find the next thread is to click on the link in Natty's post and then subscribe to the new thread. I find it easiest if I get Daily Notifications, because the weekly ones means that it's moved on again by the time I get the email.
    Better is good enough.
