Have also been and bought manure, compost and bark chips in case I feel like doing some gardening. Pruned the roses, rescued some blooms and buds and brought them in, so my sitting room and hall have vases of beautiful scented roses in them.

Sausage, pumpkin and bean casserole cooking.

Ooo greenbeebtaht sounds nice. I've had hm chorizo bean soup and some fresh bread.

DD has lost another tooth, consecutive nights! But she's very grumpy and needs her bed I think.

Piggies have been very sociable today, kids have had a few cuddles plus their friends did too. They are tucked away now from all the noise - rather loud here at the mo.

Weather forecast is awful tomorrow and DS has a match  aforementioned friends mum said to drop DD at theirs rather than have her stood out in the rain, which is much appreciated and will definitely take her up one that! Need to organise extra dry clothes for DS and I.

    Night all xx

    *Shuffles in mumbling unsociably*
I wish it'd have a good old downpour right now. Might afford us a bit of peace; it sounds like World War 3 is going on outside. :(
    *Shuffles out, still mumbling*

It was :) I'm about to freeze the rest and make some yogurt before going to bed. I've done a few long-overdue jobs - washed all the cleaning cloths, filled up the vinegar bottles from the 5l plastic can, sewed plastic curtain rings on an old lace curtain so I can use it as a shower curtain (with a plastic liner) in the ensuite instead of the opaque white one (it's a bit dark in the shower, and anyway cream goes better than white), changed the ensuite light pull.

I've also put away all my running and gym kit, although I haven't actually finished unpacking from my last trip yet. Maybe I should do that before I go to bed, seeing as I have another 1800 or so steps to do...

    Morning <yawn>

DS has woken us all :( I've sent him to go play...

LW it was noisy here too and went on for many hours. I just kept thinking "all that money!" Lol

Still more laundry to do today but will have to dry indoors - and s&s the sinks and loos.

    That's my plan, anyway...

Morning all. Fireworks went on for longer than usual here too. Dogs not bothered thank goodness.

Today, some shopping with DH and DD is coming over again as we didn't get round to dyeing her hair last night.

    Flying - just the basics.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning I am one who loves bonfire night, but then I don't have pets, but probably 3 years running I've been full of cold on the night so missed out. Ah well. Kept warm and chilled with a film last night - feeling in need of a rest. Started on the Christmas shopping - but only for a couple of easy people, so lots still to do.

Did manage to get some more putting away done last night - and lots of things that aren't away are at least in the right room ready for when I next do those rooms. So after only a week things are looking (and feeling) MUCH better.

Fireworks were very loud here and I thought they were over by 9.30 so I got Kelpie ready to walk him around the garden, still in his thundershirt. He poked his nose out of the door, heard one bang in the distance and refused to step foot over the threashold which has never happened before. As long as I kept one hand on him he coped alright and for the first time ever Devil Cat stayed with me all evening, chosing to be frightened on my knees rather than be frightened hiding in the darkest place he could find. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as the Firework Championships but it was bad enough so I'm really, really glad it's over for another year. If I'm honest, this has actually been the quietest year ever here in terms of people setting off random fireworks in the run up to 5 November, so I'm not going to whinge about it.

Kitchen has received a couple of hours attention, tree watered, nyger seed feeder topped up, and the bins have been done. I thought the arrival was today but it's tomorrow at 6.00pm *hurrah* so I don't have to do everything today after all. I'll do a bit more but as OH is away this weekend frankly I could do with a bit of a duvet day.
    Better is good enough.
